dc.description.abstractÇocuk eğitimi, ülkemizde özellikle son yıllarda dikkatleri üzerine çeken konulardandır. Eğitime dönük ilmî çalışmalar da gittikçe hız kazanmaktadır. Önceki süreçte Divan edebiyatında çocuk eğitiminin bunlardan farklı olarak nasihatnamelerde ifade edildiğini görüyoruz.Arap edebiyatının 11-12. yüzyıl eserleri Ey Oğul ve Genç Müslüman'a Öğütler'i ile edebiyatımızda 17-18. yüzyılda yazılan Hayriyye ve Lutfiyye Doğu-İslam kültüründe çocuk eğitimini yansıtan temel nasihatnamelerdendir. 18. yüzyıldan sonra aydınlanma hareketinin etkisi Türklere de yansımış ve çizilen çocuk görüntüsü bu eserlerden farklılık arz etmeye başlamıştır.Batı'da ise çocuk eğitimi 15. yüzyıldan itibaren ilmî çalışmalara konu olmaya başlamıştır. Bugün de bize kaynaklık eden bu çalışmalar Doğu-İslam kültüründeki nasihatnamelerden birçok konuda farklıdır. 18. yüzyılda, Fransız İhtilali'ne zemin hazırlayan Jean Jacques Rousseau'nun kaleme aldığı Emile, Batı-Hristiyan dünyasının ideal çocuk tipini açıkça ve ayrıntılı bir şekilde ortaya koymuştur.Biz de tezimizde, yüzyıllardır gerek dinî gerekse toplumsal yönden zıtlık oluşturan Doğu-Batı kültürünü özellikle 17-18. yüzyıllarda yazılan Hayriyye, Lutfiyye ve Emile çerçevesinde çocuk eğitimi açısından inceledik ve mukayese ettik. Bu inceleme sonucunda Doğu-Batı kültürünün çocuk eğitimine ilişkin ortak ve farklı yönlerini ortaya koyduk.en_US
dc.description.abstractEducation of children is among many subjects, which attracts attention in our country, especially in the recent years. Education oriented scientific studies are progressively developing. In the previous period, we see that the education of children is expressed in nasihatnames (literary works based on giving advice on specific subjects in Classical literature) apart from these in Classical Ottoman poetry.The 11 st and 12 nd century works of Arabic literature; Ey Oğul and Genç Müslüman?a Öğütler and Hayriyye and Lutfiyye, written in 17 th and 18 th century in our literature are main nasihatnames reflecting the child?s education in Eastern-Islamic culture. After 18 th century, the effects of the movement of enlightenment are seen in Turkish culture and the depiction of the child?s image begins to show many differences from these previous works of literature.On the other hand, starting from the 15 th century, the child?s education begins to become a major subject in scientific studies in Western culture. These studies, which stil become a source for us today are different from the nasihatnames in Eastern-Islamic culture in many aspects. In the 18 th century, ?Emile? written by Jean Jacques Rousseau, who lays the ground for French Revolution, puts forward the ideal child type of Western-Christian world in a clear and detailed manner.In our thesis, we analysed and compared the Eastern-Western cultures which form oppositions, both in religious and in social aspects; especially from the frameworks of Hayriyye, Lutfiyye and Emile, all of which were written in the 17 th- 18 th centuries. As a result of this study, we express the common and different aspects of Eastern-Western cultures related to child?s education .en_US
