dc.description.abstractGâde es-Semmân geçtiğimiz yüzyılın önemli kadın yazarlarından biri olarak eserleriyle Arap edebiyatına damga vurmuştur. Yazarın seyahat ettiği Avrupa ülkelerinin edebiyat ve kültür kaynaklarıyla tanışması onun edebî kişiliğine etki etmiş, dönemin Arap İsrail çatışmasını ve Filistinlilerin haklarını eserlerinde savunan bir yazar olmuştur. Bu çalışmada Arap edebiyatına modern kimlik kazandıran Gâde es-Semmân’ın hayatı, eserleri, edebî üslubu ve Leyletü’l-milyâr isimli romanı teknik ve tematik açıdan incelenmiştir. Romanın dönemin sorunlarını ele alması ve seksenlerde yayınlanan en önemli Arap romanlarından biri kabul edilmesi eserin Arap romanı açısından önemini göstermektedir. Çalışmada romanda işlenen İsrail’in Lübnan’ı işgali, gurbetçi Araplar ve savurgan zenginlerin dünyası gibi temalar incelenmiş ve romanın yapısını şekillendiren unsurların ne ölçüde kullanıldığını tespit edebilmek için teknik açıdan inceleme yapılmıştır.
dc.description.abstractGhada Samman was one of the most important women writers of the last century and her work have left a mark on Arabic literature. The author’s acquaintance with the library and cultural resources of the European countries he traveled to had an impact on his literary personality, and he became a writer who defended the Arab-İsrael conflict of the period and the rights of Palestinians in his Works. In this study, the life, Works, literary style and the novel The Night of The First Billion of the Ghada Samman, who brought a modern identity to Arabic literature are analyzed from a technical and thematic point of view. The fact that the novel deals with the problems of the period and is considered one of the most important Arabic novels published in the eighties shows the importance of the work in terms of the Arabic novel. In this study, themes such as İsrael’s occupation of Lebanon, expatriate Arabs and the world of the extravagant rich were analyzed in the novel, and a technical analysis was made to determine the exent to wich the elements tahat shape the structure of the novel were used.
