Özet
İllüstrasyon bir iletişim aracıdır, insanoğlunun kendini ifade etme ihtiyacı ile
ortaya çıkan ve günümüze kadar değişip gelişerek varlığını sürdüren sanat dalıdır.
Zamana tanıklık etmesinin yanında sanat zamanın ötesini ve geleceği de arar.
Sanatsal bir olgunun dijital teknoloji ile birleşeceği düşüncesi bilgisayarların ortaya
çıktığı ilk yıllardan itibaren sanatçıların ilgisini çekmekteydi. Dijital teknoloji ile
birlikte gelen yenilikler, yalnızca gündelik sürecin üretim aşamalarını değil, aynı
zamanda sanatsal üretimin her alanında farklılıklara neden olmaktadır. Dijital sanat
diğer akımları reddetmek yerine tüm sanat ideolojilerini benimsemiş ve kendi
özellikleriyle birleştirmiştir. Dijital sanatın geniş çalışma yelpazesine sahip olması
bundandır.
İllüstrasyonun tarihsel süreç içerisinde teknoloji ile yollarının kesişmesiyle
bugüne kadar ki gelişimine ışık tutmak amacıyla bu çalışmada, literatür
taramasından, akademik yazılar ve dergiler, kitaplar ve yayınlanmış tezlerden
yararlanılmıştır.
Illustration is a communication tool, it is a branch of art that emerges with the need of human beings to express themselves and that continues to exist by changing and developing until today. In addition to witnessing time, art also seeks beyond time and th future. The idea that an artistic phenomenon will be combined with digital technology has attracted th attention of artists since the first years of the emergence of computers. The innovations that come with digital technology cause differences not only in the production stages of the daily process, but also in all areas of artistic production. Instead of rejecting other movements, digital art has adopted all art ideologies and combined them with its own characteristics. That is why digital art has a wide range of work. In this study, literature review, academic articles and journals, books and published thesis were used in order to set light to the development of illustration through the crossing of technology and paths in the historical process.
