| dc.description.abstract | Gen kavramları arasında birbirinden farklı anlamlar içeren kalıplar bulunmaktadır. Bu farklılıklar, genler ve genetik hakkında bilgi edinirken oluşan kafa karışıklığının sebeplerinden birisidir. Bu araştırma öğretim materyali olarak liselerde okutulan ders kitabındaki gen kavramlarının öğrenciye sunulduğu şekliyle incelenmesine dayanmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, ortaöğretim lise biyoloji ders kitaplarında kullanılan gen kavramlarının biyolojinin alt dallarında nasıl kullanıldığını analiz etmektir. Araştırmada doküman inceleme tekniği kullanılmıştır. 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında uygulamaya konulan müfredata göre hazırlanmış lise 9., 10., 11. ve 12. sınıf biyoloji ders kitaplarında kullanılan gen kavramları 5 kategoride sınıflandırılmıştır. Araştırmada kitapta kullanılan gen kavramı başlıkları şu şekildedir: (1) kişisel bir özellik/karakter olarak gen, (2) bilgi deposu olarak gen, (3) aktör olarak gen, (4) düzenleyici olarak gen ve (5) işaretçi olarak gen. Araştırmada gen kavramlarına 9. ve 11. sınıf ders kitaplarında az rastlanırken, 10. ve 12. sınıf ders kitaplarında sıklıkla rastlanmaktadır. Kişisel bir özellik olarak gen 10. sınıf ders kitabında, bilgi merkezi olarak gen ise 9. ve 12. Sınıf ders kitaplarında ön plana çıkmaktadır. Gen kavramları arasındaki bu farklılıklar kafa karışıklığına neden olabileceği için gen kavramı ve bu kavramın adı olan gen terimi daha yalın ve güncel bir anlama dönüştürülebilir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | There are molds with different meanings between the concepts of genes. These differences are one of the reasons for confusion when it comes to learning about genes and genetics. This research is based on examining the concepts of gene in the textbooks in high schools as teaching material. The aim of this study is to analyze how the concepts of gene used in high school biology textbooks are used in sub-branches of biology. Document analysis technique was used in the study. The gene concepts used in biology textbooks of 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades of high school prepared according to the curriculum implemented in 2018-2019 academic year are classified into 5 categories. In the research, the gene concept titles used in the book are as follows: (1) gene as a personal property / character, (2) gene with information store, (3) gene as actor, (4) gene as regulator and (5) gene as marker. The concepts of genes are rarely encountered in the 9th and 11th grade textbooks, and they are frequently encountered in the 10th and 12th grade textbooks. As a personal feature, the gene comes out in the 10th grade textbook, while the gene as the information center comes to the fore in the 9th and 12th grade textbooks. Since these differences between gene concepts can cause confusion, the concept of gene and the term gene, which is the name of this concept, can be transformed into a simpler and more current understanding. | en_US |
