dc.description.abstractGüvenlik sektöründe bulunan kişilerin içinde bulundukları çalışma koşulları sebebiyle toplum içindeki farklı iş disiplinlerindeki bireylere göre daha çok risk altında bulunduğu aşikardır. Dolayısıyla güvenlik sektöründe çalışan bireylerin bir karar verici olarak kullanım alanına uygunluk gösterecek bir silah tercihi yapması beklenmektedir. Çok ölçütlü karar verme yöntemleri de birbiriyle çelişen ölçütleri değerlendirerek karar vericiye en iyi alternatifin seçilmesinde yardımcı olmaktadır. Bu çalışmada AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) ve TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) Yöntemi kullanılarak karar vericilere bir çözüm önerisi sunulmuştur. Öncelikle kriterler ve alternatifler güvenlik sektöründe çalışan bireylerle yapılan geniş katılımlı beyin fırtınası toplantılarının sonunda balık kılçığı diyagramı kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. AHP yöntemiyle kriter ağırlık değerleri hesaplanmış, sonra TOPSIS yöntemi kullanılarak da alternatifler sıralanmıştır. Sonuç olarak en iyi seçim alternatifi olarak "Seçenek 2" belirlenmiştir. Çalışmadan elde edilen bulguların karar vericilerin silah seçiminde özellikle makine ve insan hatalarından kaynaklanan tehlikelere karşı daha dikkatli olmasına katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir. Ayrıca bu çalışmadan elde edilen bulgular değerlendirilerek ülkemizde silah sektöründe faaliyet gösteren işletmelerin daha kaliteli ürünler elde etmesi için yönetim ve üretim süreçlerine olumlu katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.en_US
dc.description.abstractIt is obvious that the people in the security sector are at more risk than individuals in different job disciplines in society due to their working conditions. For this reason, it is expected that individuals working in the security sector to choice a weapon to be suitable for the field of use as decision maker. In recent years, it is a field where researchers have been increasingly working on due to simple, easy to understand, but also easy to implement. Multi-criteria decision-making methods also help the decision maker to choose the best alternative by evaluating conflicting criteria. In this study, a solution proposal is presented to decision makers using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) and TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method. First of all, criteria and alternatives were obtained using the fishbone diagram at the end of the wide participation brainstorming meetings with individuals working in the security sector. Criteria weight values were calculated by the AHP method, then alternatives were ranked by using the TOPSIS method. As a result, "Option 2" was selected as the best alternative. It is considered that the findings obtained through the study will contribute to the decision makers to be more careful in selecting weapons, especially against the hazards arising from machine and human errors. In addition, the findings obtained from this study are considered to contribute positively to management and production processes in order to obtain better quality products by the companies operating in the arms sector in our country.en_US
