dc.description.abstractAdalar, çevresine göre benzersiz özellikler sergileyen ve etrafı sularla çevrili fiziksel alanlardır. Sınırlı fiziksel özelliklere ek olarak, sosyal olarak içine kapanık, bağımsız; içsel ve dışsal olarak iletişim kurmakta zorlanan kara parçaları olarak görülmektedir. İstanbul Adalar ilçesi 9 adadan oluşan sadece 5 adasında yerleşim olan doğal görünümü bozulmamış ve kendilerine özgü gerek günlük turizm gerekse kültür turizmi bağlamında ilgi çeken Türkiye'nin önemli adalarıdır. Bu çalışma İstanbul'daki adalarda ekoturizm potansiyelini belirlemek amacı ile yapılmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda doğal turizm değerlerinin yanı sıra geleneksel yaşam tarzını, kültürel ve sosyal değerlerini de göz önünde tutan kültürel turizm değerleri ile birlikte stratejik turizm planlamasının yapılmasına ve mutlak koruma esasının turizm gayesine göre geliştirilmesine imkân tanıyan bir model olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Çalışmanın başlangıcında, ekoturizm ve bileşenleri tanımlanmıştır. Çalışmanın ikinci iv bölümünde çalışma yönteminde bahsedilerek, Adalar ilçesinin tarihi ve coğrafi özelliklerine değinilerek ilçe ulaşım imkanlarına, iklim ve bitki örtüsüne yer verilmiştir. Çalışmanın üçüncü bölümünde, bölgenin ekoturizm bileşenlerinin ortaya çıkması adına bölgedeki adaların turizm potansiyeline doğal turizm özelliklerine kültürel turizm değerlerine yer verilmiştir; Son aşamada ise, tez kapsamında, doğal ve kültürel ekoturizm değerlendirmesi yapıldıktan sonra, adalarda sürdürülebilir turizm temeline dayanan koruma ve kullanıma yönelik hedefler ve öneriler ortaya konulmuştur.en_US
dc.description.abstractIslands are physical areas that exhibit unique characteristics compared to their surroundings and are surrounded by water. In addition to their limited physical characteristics, they are socially withdrawn, independent, and are seen as landmasses that have difficulty communicating internally and externally. Istanbul Adalar District is one of the important islands of Turkey, which has a settlement on only 5 islands consisting of 9 islands, with its natural appearance intact and attracting attention in the context of both daily tourism and cultural tourism. This study was carried out with the aim of determining the eco-tourism potential of the islands district. In line with this purpose, it emerges as a model that allows strategic tourism planning to be made and the absolute protection principle to be developed according to the purpose of tourism, together with cultural tourism values that take into account traditional lifestyle, cultural and social values as well as natural tourism values. At the beginning of the study, ecotourism and its components were defined. In the second part of the study, the study method is mentioned, the historical and geographical features of the Adalar district are mentioned, and the transportation opportunities, climate and vegetation of the district are included. In the third part of the study, in order to reveal the ecotourism components of the region, the tourism potential of the islands in the region, their natural tourism characteristics, and cultural tourism values are included; In the last stage, within the scope of the thesis, after the evaluation of natural and cultural ecotourism, targets and suggestions for conservation and use based on sustainable tourism in the islands were put forward.en_US
