On dokuzuncu yüzyılın sonunda yirminci yüzyılın başında edebiyat ve şiir alanında Mısır'ın yetiştirdiği şairlerin en iyisi sayılan iki büyük şair yaşamıştır. Onlar modern çağda şiirin öncüleri olan; şairlerin piri Ahmet Şevki ve Nil şairi Hafız İbrahim'dir. Bu iki şairin aynı dönemde bulunması eşsiz bir tesadüftür. Çalışmada bu iki şairin şiirlerinde bulunan Türk izleri ele alınmıştır
At the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twenteenth century, Lord has donated Egypt two great poets. They are considered of the most extraordinary in poetry and in literature in Egypt. They are pioneers of poetry in modern era. They are Ahmed Shawqi, nicknamed Amir al-Shuara (The Prince of Poets) and Hafez Ibraheem nicknamed the Poet of the Nile.The presence of these two great poets together in the same era is one of the lucky chances. They together formed unique poetry and liliterature rarely happens.
