dc.description.abstractSözlükte “övmek, birinin ya da bir şeyin güzel özelliklerini söyleme” anlamındaki medih, Arap şiirinde en çok işlenen konular arasında yer alır. Çünkü insanın hayatında övme ve övülme isteği hep var olmuştur. Kur'an-ı Kerim'de başta Allah Teâla, diğer Peygamberler, iman edenler ve âhiret âlemi ile ilgili bir çok şey övülmüştür. Aynı şekilde hadislerde de başta sahabe olmak üzere iman edip din uğrunda her şeyini ortaya koyan müminler övülmüştür. Gerek Kurân’ın gerekse de Hz. Peygamber’in bu övgülerini kendilerine örnek alan şairler tarafından Allah’ın yüce özelliklerinin dile getirildiği övgü şiirleri ve başta Hz. Peygamber olmak üzere diğer Peygamberleri, sahabe veümmeti öven şiirler yazılmıştır. Hz. Peygamber’i metheden çok sayıda şair tarafından sayısız şiirlerin söylenmesi sonucunda da medihler içeren müstakil şiir divanları ortaya çıkmıştır. Hz. Peygambere methiye nazmeden bu şairlerden biri de İbnu’ṭ-Ṭayyib eş-Şeraḳî’ dir. Şairin Dîvân’ının çoğunluğu Hz. Peygamber methiyelerinden oluşmaktadır. Bu çalışmada XVII. Yüzyılın son çeyreği ve XVIII. Yüzyılın ilk çeyreğinde Fas (Mağrib) bölgesinde yaşamış önemli şairlerden İbnu’ṭ-Ṭayyib eş-Şeraḳî’nin Dîvânı’ndaki methiyeleri muhtevâ bakımından incelenmiş, ayrıca şairin hayatı ve eserleri hakkında genel bir bilgi verilmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractMedih, which means in the dictionary “praising, saying the good features of someone or something”, is one of the most studied topics in Arabic poetry. Because there has always been the desire to praise and to be praised in human life. In the Qur'an, many things have been praised, first of all, Allah and then other Prophets, believers and the world after-life. Likewise, in hadiths especially the companions and the believers, who believed and devoted everythingfor the sake of religion, have also been praised. Poems of praise in which the features of Almighty Allah were mentioned and the poems which praised especially the Prophet Muhammad and other Prophets, Companions and Ummah were written by the poets who took the praises of both the Qur’an and the Prophet Muhammad as examples for themselves. As a result of countless poems by many poets praising Prophet Muhammad, independent poetry divans containing medihs emerged. One of these poets who wrote praises for the Prophet Mohammed was İbnu’ṭ-Ṭayyib eş-Şeraḳî. Majority of the Dîvânof the poet consists of the praises for the Prophet Mohammed. In this study, the praises in the Divan of Ibnu't-Tayyib al-Sheraqi who was one of the most important poets living in Morocco (Magrib) between the final quarter of 17th century and the first quarter of 18th century have been analyzed in terms of content and also a general information has been given about the life and works of the poet.en_US
