dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada, gestasyonel diyabetes mellitus (GDM) tanısı alan gebelerde, biyolojik fonksiyonları tanımlamayı ve karbonhidrat ve lipid metabolizması ile ilişkili olduğu bilinen ChREBP ve SREBP- 1c proteinlerinin seviyesini değerlendirmeyi amaçladık.GDM teşhisi konulmuş 50 gebe kadın ve GDM teşhisi bulunmayan sağlıklı 52 gebe kadın çalışmaya alınmıştır. Katılımcıların OGTT (Oral Glikoz ToleransTesti) kapsamında verdikleri 0. saat kan (serum) örneklerinden artan kanlardan Chrebp ve Srebp-1c seviyeleri ELİSA tekniği kullanılarak ölçümleri yapılmıştır. Kontrol grubuna ait Srebp-1c değeri GDM' li hasta grubuna ait SREBP- 1c değerinden istatistiki açıdan anlamlı olarak yüksek bulunmuştur. CHREBP değeride kontrol grubunda GDM' li hasta grubundan istatistiki açıdan anlamlı olarak yüksek bulunmuştur.Literatür taramalarımızın sonucunda karbonhidrat ve lipit metabolizması ile ilişkisi kanıtlanmış olan ChREBP ve SREBP-1c proteinlerinin kan (serum) seviyelerinin gestasyonel diyabetus mellitus olan kadınlar üzerinde çalışılmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu sebepten dolayı çalışmamızın mevcut bilgilere katkı sağlayacağına ve ChREBP ve SREBP-1c proteinlerinin biyolojik aktivitesinin tanımlanmasına katkı sağlayacağını düşünmekteyiz. Bu konuda daha fazla araştırmaya ihtiyaç olduğu kanısındayız.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this study, we aimed to identify the biological functions and evaluate level of ChREBP and SREBP-1c proteins known to be associated with carbohydrate and lipid metabolism in pregnant women diagnosed with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM).Fifty pregnant women who were diagnosed with GDM and 50 healthy pregnant women were without GDM were included in the study. ChREBP and SREBP-1c levels were measured by using ELISA technique from the blood samples obtained from the 0th hour blood samples (serum) were given by the participants for OGTT (Oral Glucose Tolerance Test).According to the Mann Withney U test performed in this study, a statistically significant difference was found between SREBP-1c and CREBP levels in the groups. The SREBP-1c level of the control group was statistically higher than the SREBP-1c level of the GDM patient group (p=0,042). The CHREBP level of the control group was statistically higher than the SREBP-1c level of the GDM patient group (p=0,044). As a result of our literature surveys, it was found that blood (serum) levels of ChREBP and SREBP-1c proteins, which are proven to be associated with carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, were not studied in women with gestational diabetes mellitus. For this reason, we think that our study will contribute to the current knowledge and contribute to the identification of the biological activity of ChREBP and SREBP-1c proteins.
