Nevşehir Damat İbrahim Paşa Külliyesinin Kitabelerinin Estetik Açıdan Değerlendirilmesi

Özet
Osmanlı Devleti’nin en ilgi çeken sadrazamlarından biri olan Damat İbrahim
Paşa, İstanbul’daki benzerlerini aratmayacak bir külliyeyi doğduğu yer olan
Nevşehir’e kazandırmıştır. Osmanlı tarihinde Lâle Devri olarak adlandırılan
dönemde inşa edilen ve 1727 yılında yapımı tamamlanan bu külliye, hem klasik hem
de batılılaşma dönemi özelliklerini ihtiva etmektedir.
Bölgeye sağladığı sosyal ve ekonomik katkılarla birlikte mimarisi ve
tezyinatı ile de önem arz eden bu külliyenin, hat sanatı bakımından kıymetli yapı
kitâbeleri de incelemeye ve üzerinde çalışmaya değer niteliktedir. Kitâbelerden ta’lik
hattıyla yazılmış olanları devrin önemli hattatlarından Şeyhülislâm Veliyyüddîn
Efendi’nin eserleridir.
Bu çalışmada; Nevşehir Damat İbrahim Paşa Külliyesi’nin on bir adet
kitâbesinin durumları tespit edilerek detaylı fotoğrafları çekilmiş ve bazı yazıların
kalıpları çıkartılmış, kitâbeler bir katalogda toplanarak transkriptleri yeniden
incelenmiş, yazılar hat sanatı ve estetik değerleri bakımından analiz edilerek,
Nevşehir Damat İbrahim Paşa Külliyesi özelinde bir hat sanatı değerlendirmesi
yapılmıştır.
Damat Ibrahim Pasha, one of the most interesting grand Vizier of the Ottoman State, was also gained recognition with the services he had rendered to Muskara (Nevsehir, where he was born and built a complex in the land where he was born that would easily match its counterparts in Istanbul. This complex built during the period named Tulip Era in the history of Ottomans and completed in 1727 bears the characteristics of both the classical and westernization periods. The valuable construction epitaphs of this complex having importance with its architecture and decoration as well as its social and economic contributions to the region are worth studying and working on in terms of calligraphy. The epitaphs written in ta'liq calligraphy are the works of Shaykh-al-islam Veliyyüddin Effendi, one of the important calligraphers of that period. In this study, the conditions of the eleven inscriptions of Nevsehir Damat İbrahim Pasha Complex were determined, their detailed photographs were taken, and the patterns of some writings were extracted, and the epitaphs were collected in a catalog and their transcripts were re-examined, and finally a calligraphic evaluation has been made specific to Nevsehir Damat Ibrahim Pasha Complex analyzing the scriptures in terms of calligraphy and aesthetics.
