| dc.description.abstract | Bu araştırma, öğretmen motivasyonlarının veli tutum ve davranışlarından etkilenip etkilenmediğinin ve eğer etkileniyorsa bunun olumlu ya da olumsuz etkilerinin neler olduğunu tespit etmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma nitel araştırma desenlerinden durum çalışması kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma, 2021-2022 eğitim öğretim yılı içerisinde Konya ile Karatay ilçesinde resmi ortaokul ve imam hatip ortaokullarında görev yapmakta olan öğretmenlerin katılımları ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma grubu maksimum çeşitlilik örneklem yöntemine göre seçilmiş olup katılımcıların cinsiyeti, branşı, mesleki kıdemi, mezuniyet durumu, görev yaptığı kurumun türü, çalıştığı okuldaki velilerin sosyoekonomik durumları ve katılımcıların öğrenci velisi olup olmama durumları göz önünde bulundurularak seçim yapılmıştır. Araştırma süreci içerisinde verilen kriterlere uygun 19 öğretmenle görüşme gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma sürecinde, katılımcı görüşleri doğrultusunda öğretmenlerin motivasyonlarının veli tutum ve davranışlarından etkilenip etkilenmediği sorgulanmıştır. Öğretmenlerin ifadeleri doğrultusunda karşılaştıkları olaylar ve araştırma amacına yönelik görüşleri alınmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan öğretmenlerin tamamının veli tutum ve davranışlarından etkilendiği tespit edilmiştir. Yine katılımcıların çoğunluğunun görüşleri doğrultusunda bu etkinin olumsuz olduğu görülmüştür. Öğretmenlerin olumlu ya da olumsuz etkilenmelerinin veli tutum ve davranışına göre değiştiği tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan öğretmenlerin görüşleri doğrultusunda takdir edilme, öğrenci ile ilgilenme, velilerin bilinçlenmesi, güven, destek ve saygı gibi temaların öğretmen motivasyonunu yükselttiği; destek olmama, güvensizlik, saygısızlık, takdir etmeme, bilinçsizlik ve yetersizlik gibi temaların ise öğretmen motivasyonunu düşürdüğü tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, öğretmen motivasyonunu olumlu ve olumsuz yönde etkileyen veli tutum ve davranışları araştırılırken öğretmenlerimizin eğitim öğretim sürecinde ne gibi zorluklarla karşılaştıkları ve bu sorunlara ne gibi çözüm yolları uyguladıkları tespit edilmiştir. Öğretmenlerin görüşleri doğrultusunda, sürecin daha iyi işlemesi ve öğretmen-veli ilişkisinin daha sağlam temellere oturtulması adına görüş ve öneriler alınmıştır. Veli tutum ve davranışlarının öğretmenlerin mesleki motivasyonları üzerinde önemli bir etkiye sahip olduğu ve özellikle motivasyonlarını düşüren tutum ve davranışların önüne geçilmesinin gerekliliği sonucu çıkartılmıştır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | This research was carried out to determine whether teacher motivations are affected by parents' attitudes and behaviors, and if so, what are the positive or negative effects of this. The research was carried out using the case study design of the qualitative research method. The research was carried out with the participation of teachers working in official secondary schools and imam hatip secondary schools in Konya and Karatay districts in the 2021-2022 academic year. The study group was selected according to the maximum diversity sampling method, and the selection was made considering the gender, branch, professional seniority, educational status, type of institution, the socioeconomic status of the parents in the school where they work, and whether the participants are parents of students or not. During the research process, 19 teachers were interviewed in accordance with the criteria given. In the study process, it was questioned whether the motivations of the teachers were affected by the attitudes and behaviors of the parents in line with the views of the participants. In line with the teachers' statements, the events they encountered and their views on the purpose of the research were discussed. It was determined that all of the teachers participating in the research were affected by the attitudes and behaviors of the parents. Again, in line with the opinions of the majority of the participants, it was seen that this effect was negative. It was determined that the positive or negative effects of teachers varied according to the attitude and behavior of the parents. In line with the opinions of the teachers participating in the research, themes such as being appreciated, dealing with students, awareness of parents, trust, support and respect increase teacher motivation; It has been determined that the themes such as lack of support, insecurity, disrespect, lack of appreciation, unconsciousness and inadequacy reduce teacher motivation. As a result, while investigating the attitudes and behaviors of parents that affect teacher motivation positively and negatively, it was determined what kind of difficulties our teachers encountered in the education process and what solutions they found to these problems. In line with the opinions of the teachers, opinions and suggestions were received in order to make the process work better and to establish the teacher-parent relationship on a more solid foundation. It has been concluded that the attitudes and behaviors of parents have a significant effect on the professional motivation of teachers, and it is necessary to prevent attitudes and behaviors that reduce their motivation. | en_US |
