dc.description.abstractAradan bir asır geçmiş olmasına rağmen Birinci Dünya Savaşı yeterince incelenmiş değildir. Bu araştırmada Haziran 1333 (1917) tarihinden savaş sonuna kadarMusul bölgesinde faaliyet gösteren 12. Osmanlı Otomobil Kolu’na ait Efrad KünyeDefteri’nin transkiripsiyonu yapılarak buradaki bilgiler analiz edilecektir. Zabit VekiliHasan Necib oğlu Bahaeddin tarafından tutulan Efrad Künye Defteri’nin orijinali özelkütüphanemizdedir. Avusturya-Osmanlı Otomobil Kolları bünyesinde faaliyet gösteren 12. Osmanlı Otomobil Kolu’nda zaman zaman değişiklik göstermekle birlikteşoför ve muâvin olmak üzere 40 civarında asker bulunmaktadır. Künyelerinden anlaşıldığı üzere bu askerler arasında gayr-i müslimler çoktur.Künye Defteri ve içindeki diğer kayıt ve perakende notlardan;1- Askerin; memleketi, yaşı, etnik durumu bilgileri,2- Askere verilen malzeme,3- Otomobil kolunun hareket alanı ve faaliyetleri,4- Disiplin durumu, bazı suç ve cezalar,5- Osmanlı kuvvetlerinin Musul bölgesindeki askeri durumu gibi pek çok alandabazı yeni bilgiler elde etmek mümkün olmuştur.en_US
dc.description.abstractAlthough a century has passed, the First World War has not been investigated indetail yet. In this study, the soldier identity book of 12th Ottoman Automobile Troop,which was active from June, 1333 (1917) until the end of the First World War, willbe transcribed and the data will be analysed. The original copy of the book, recordedby the court deputy, Burhanaddin’s son Najeeb, is in my private library. Although thenumber changed from time to time, there were some 40 soldiers including the driversand their helpers in the structure of 12th Austrian-Ottoman Automobile Troop. As it isinferred from their identities, there were a great number of non-Muslims.A great amount of data was inferred from the records in the identity book such as1. The soldiers’ age, hometown, and ethnicity;2. The materials given to the soldiers; 3. The theatre of operations and the activities carried out there; 4. Disciplinary situation, and some crimes and punishments; and 5. The Military status of Ottoman forces in the territories of Mosul; and a greatamount of data of the same kind.en_US
