dc.description.abstractZiya Gökalp, Osmanlı Devleti'nin yıkılmaya başladığı sancılı döneminde yaşamıştır. Yeni kurulacak olan Türkiye Cumhuriyeti'nin ilk dönemlerinde topluma yön verecek, fikirler üreterek büyük katkı sağlamıştır. Batı karşısında geri kalmışlığı yoğun bir şekilde hissedilen Osmanlı Devleti'nin ilerlemesi için bazı kurumlarında ciddi değişiklikler yapılması gerekiyordu. Bu konuya titizlikle değinen Ziya Gökalp, var olan kurumlarda içinde ya büyük değişimler yapmayı önermiş ya da kurumların tamamen kaldırılması yönünde reform hareketleri hazırlama yoluna başvurmuştur. Yeni kurulacak devletin laik temeller üzerine oturması için ciddi çalışmalar gerçekleştirmiştir. Hatta sadece laiklikle kalmamış, aile hukukuna, kadın haklarına eğitimde yaşanan ikilik üzerine de fikirler üretmiştir. Toplumun değişen dünyaya ayak uydurması için, milletinin Batı medeniyeti karşısında daha fazla güç duruma düşmemesi için çalışmalar gerçekleştirmiştir. Siyasetle olan ilişkisi ve İttihat ve Terakki Cemiyetiyle olan geçmişi sayesinde Ziya Gökalp'in ürettiği fikirler sadece düşünce aşamasında kalmamış, hayata da geçmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractZiya Gökalp lived during the painful period of the collapse of the Ottomon Empire. In the last period of the Ottomon Empire and newly established Republic of Turkey's first term by geenerating ideas that will give direction to socieety, he has made great contrubution. For the advance of the Ottomon Empire, which had been heavily felt backword aganist the West, soma of its institutions had to be changed. Ziya Gökalp, who fouched on this issue meticulously, affered to make big changes in the existing institutions or to prepore reform movements for the complete abolition of institutions. It has carried out serious work for the new state to be based on secular foundations. In fact, not only secularism, he produced ideas family law, women's right and duality on the education. In order to the society to adapt to the changing World, he has made efforts to ensure that the Notion does not become more vulnerable to Western civilization. Thanks to his relation ship with politics and his history with the committee of union and progress the ideas produced by Ziya Gökalp did not only remain in the tought stage, but were brought to life.en_US
