The Battle of Badr, while establishing the recognition of Muslims as a power in the Hijaz region, undermined the reputation of the Quraysh tribe in Mecca. This battle played a significant role in the shift of power balances and can be considered a turning point. In this battle, the polytheists, including the elite class, suffered many losses, and many individuals from the Quraysh army were taken as prisoners. Although there are independent studies and research sections regarding the Battle of Badr, no specific study focusing on the Badr prisoners has been found. In this research, the names of the prisoners were identified primarily using the biographical, campaign, and class books, and the information about the identified names was gathered. The compiled information was classified and analyzed within the framework of research topics. The study consists of an introduction and two sections. In the introduction, the subject, scope, purpose, methodology, and sources of the research are explained, and the importance of the Battle of Badr and its effects in the Hijaz region are discussed. In the first section, the names of the prisoners were identified, and the information about them was compiled. In the second section, the attitude displayed by the prisoners after the Battle of Badr was evaluated through events, and detailed information about their impact on the incidents was provided. The distribution of the prisoners includes all the tribes that participated in the battle. Among the prisoners are individuals from both the leaders of the tribes and their allies (halif). These individuals were either released by paying a ransom, teaching them to read and write, exchanging prisoners, or releasing them without any compensation. Among the freed prisoners, there were those who died in acts against Islam, such as associating partners with Allah, as well as those who served Islam and made efforts on its path as Muslims. It can be understood that the behavior of most of the prisoners changed positively after the conquest of Mecca.
