dc.description.abstractÇevre eğitimine erken yaşlarda başlanması olumlu çevresel davranışların yaşam boyu sürdürülebilmesi için büyük öneme sahiptir. Bu nedenle okul öncesi dönem, çocuklara çevre konusunda bilgi aktarılmasında, çevre konulu etkinliklerin planlanmasında ve çevreye ilişkin farkındalığın kazandırılmasında belirleyici bir unsurdur. Okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin çocuklara çevre eğitimi sunabilmeleri için en başta kendilerinin temel çevre bilgisine sahip olmaları ve çevreye karşı olumlu tutum sahibi olmaları beklenmektedir. Bu nedenle bu çalışmada okul öncesi öğretmenleri ile okul öncesi öğretmen adaylarının çevreye ilişkin algılarının çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Tarama çalışması olarak hazırlanan bu araştırmanın örneklemini Van ilinde görev yapan 156 okul öncesi öğretmeni ile 279 okul öncesi öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak “Öğretmen Kişisel Bilgi Formu”, “Öğretmen Adayı Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ve “Çevresel Algı Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Veri analizi sonucunda, okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin ve öğretmen adaylarının çevreye ilişkin algılarının, Çevre Eğitimi Algısı ve Çevresel Sorunlara ilişkin Duyusal Algı alt boyutlarında anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği, diğer alt boyutlarda ve ölçeğin genel toplamında ise anlamlı bir farklılık göstermediği belirlenmiştir.
dc.description.abstractStarting environmental education at an early age is of great importance for the sustainability of positive environmental behaviors throughout life. Therefore, the preschool period is a decisive element in conveying information to children about the environment, planning environmental activities, and raising environmental awareness. In order for preschool teachers to provide environmental education to children, they are primarily expected to have basic environmental knowledge and have a positive attitude towards the environment. Therefore, this study aimed to examine the perceptions of preschool teachers and preservice preschool teachers about the environment in terms of various variables. The sample of this survey consists of 156 preschool teachers working in Van province and 279 preservice preschool teachers. The “Teachers Personal Information Form”, “Preservice Teachers Personal Information Form” and the “Environmental Perception Scale” were used as data collection tools in the research. As a result of the data analysis, it was determined that the perceptions of preschool teachers and preservice teachers regarding the environment showed significant differences in the sub-dimensions of Environment Education Perception and Problems of Sensory Perception, but did not show significant differences in the other sub-dimensions and the overall total of the scale.
