Çocuklarda viral gastroenterit etkenlerinin multipleks PZR yöntemi ile araştırılması

dc.description.abstractAkut gastroenteritli çocuklarda viral etkenlerin moleküler yöntemlerden PZR ile tespit edilmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilen bu araştırmaya 0-18 yaş aralığında 94 hasta dahil edilmiştir. Besin alerjisi ve intoleransı olan hastalar çalışmaya dahil edilmemiştir. Hastalardan alınan gaita örnekleri multipleks PZR yöntemiyle üretici firma önerilerine göre çalışılmıştır. Çalışmadan elde edilen veriler SPSS 21.0 Paket Programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan istatistiksel analizler neticesinde viral gastoenterit pozitifliği %55.3 olarak saptanmıştır. Hastaların %20.4'ünde Norovirus'un G-2 serotipi, %12.8'inde Adenovirus, %12.8'inde Astrovirus, %11.7'sinde Rotavirus, %1.1'inde Sapovirus, %1.1'inde de Norovirus'un G-1 serotipi tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmadan elde edilen verilerin analizi sonucunda viral etkenlerin erkeklerde daha sık olduğu, ancak cinsiyete göre gruplar arasında anlamlı bir fark olmadığı görülmüştür. Bulunan etkenlerin en sık 0-12 ay arası çocuklarda olduğu tespit edilmiş olup yaşa göre etkenlerin dağılımı istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı farklılık olduğu görülmüştür. Etkenlerin en sık Mayıs ayında tespit edildiği görülmüş olup aylara göre viral etkenlerin dağılımı açısından gruplar arasındaki fark anlamlı bulunmuştur. Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlar dikkate alındığında Multipleks PZR yönteminin viral gastroenteritlerin saptanmasında yararlı bir yöntem olduğu görülmüştür.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis study was performed to detect viral agents in children with acute gastroenteritis by PCR. Patients with food allergy and intolerance were not included in the study. Fecal samples obtained from patients were studied by multiplex PCR method according to manufacturer's recommendations. The data obtained from the study were analyzed with SPSS 21.0 Package Program. As a result of statistical analysis, viral gastoenteritis positivity was determined as 55.3%. G-2 serotype of Norovirus was found in 20.4%, Adenovirus in 12.8%, Astrovirus in 12.8%, Rotavirus in 11.7%, Sapovirus in 1.1%, and G-1 serotype of Norovirus in 1.1%. As a result of the analysis of the data obtained from the study, it was observed that viral agents were more common in males but there was no significant difference between the groups according to gender. It was found that the most frequent factors were in children between 0-12 months and there was a significant difference in the distribution of factors according to age. It was seen that the most frequent factors were detected in May and the difference between the groups was significant in terms of the distribution of viral agents by months. When the results of the study were taken into consideration, Multiplex PCR was found to be a useful method for the detection of viral gastroenteritis.en_US
