Özet
Toplumsal hayat ile yeni medya araçları gün geçtikçe karmaşıklaşan bir ilişki halini almaktadır. Modern çağda din-medya ilişkisinin ele alındığı bu alan araştırmasında yeni bir dindarlık formu olarak Hayalhanem adlı grup, örneklem olarak incelenmiştir. Bu tez çalışması, modern çağda ortaya çıkan yeni dindarlık formlarını Hayalhanem adlı dinî topluluk üzerinden ele almaktadır. Bu çalışmanın önemi, geleneksel dinî tebliğden farklı olan bir dindarlık formunun bireylerin dinî pratiklerinin şekillenmesinde nasıl bir rol oynadığı ve dinî hayat ile seküler hayatın birlikte yaşandığı eklektik paradigmayı ortaya koymasında saklıdır. Söz konusu çalışma, Hayalhanem adlı dini topluluğun çevrim içi dindarlık formunu sosyolojik olarak betimlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Modern teknoloji ve din ilişkisini ele alan akademik çalışmaların yanı sıra, Hayalhanem grubunun resmi Youtube kanalı üzerinden yayımlanan videoları, nitel görüşme sorularının verileri ve sahada alınan katılımcı gözlem notları genel olarak çalışmanın kaynaklarını oluşturmaktadır. Türkiye’de sanal cemaat şeklinde beliren yapılar evrensel kümemizi oluşturan bir kapsamda olsa da Hayalhanem grubu ve onun Youtube’daki videoları, çalışmanın sınırlarını ortaya koymaktadır. Hayalhanem’e giden veya Hayalhanem’i takip eden kişilerle derinlemesine görüşmenin gerçekleştirildiği bu çalışmada, nitel araştırma yöntemi takip edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada ayrıca Hayalhanem’in en popüler videoları netnografik yöntemle analiz edilmiştir. Nitel araştırma tekniklerinden derinlemesine mülakat, netnografi tekniği ve katılımcı gözlem tekniklerinin birlikte kullanıldığı bu çalışmada, sanalda oluşturulan yeni dindarlık formlarının sosyolojik okuması yapılmıştır. Çalışmada genel olarak cep dindarlığı ve teknolojik İslam kavramlarıyla şekillenen Hayalhanem örnekleminin modern çağda anlam arayışındaki gençler için bir liman olarak gördüğü anlaşılmıştır. Bununla birlikte sanala yansıyan din gerçeğinin aktarımda geleneksel ciddiyetinin nasıl yitirildiği yine bu örneklem üzerinden değerlendirilmiştir. Ayrıca kadın aktörünün Hayalhanem grubunda etkin konumda yer almaması tespit edilmiştir.
Social life and new media tools are becoming increasingly complex. In this field research, which examines the religion-media relationship in the modern age, a group called Hayalhanem was examined as a sample as a new form of religiosity. This thesis study examines the new forms of religiosity that have emerged in the modern age through the religious community called Hayalhanem. The importance of this study lies in how a form of religiosity that is different from traditional religious preaching plays a role in shaping individuals' religious practices and in revealing the eclectic paradigm in which religious life and secular life are lived together. The study in question aims to sociologically describe the online religiosity form of the religious community called Hayalhanem. In addition to academic studies that address the relationship between modern technology and religion, the videos published on the official YouTube channel of the Hayalhanem group, the data from the qualitative interview questions and the participant observation notes taken in the field generally constitute the sources of the study. Although the structures that emerged in the form of virtual communities in Turkey are within the scope of our universal cluster, the Hayalhanem group and its videos on YouTube reveal the limits of the study. In this study, in which in-depth interviews were conducted with people who went to Hayalhanem or followed Hayalhanem, the qualitative research method was followed. In this study, the most popular videos of Hayalhanem were also analyzed with the netnographic method. In this study, where in-depth interview, netnography technique and participant observation techniques were used together, a sociological reading of new forms of religiosity created in the virtual world was made. In the study, it was understood that the Hayalhanem sample, which was generally shaped by the concepts of pocket religiosity and technological Islam, was seen as a haven for young people searching for meaning in the modern age. In addition, how the traditional seriousness of the religious reality reflected in the virtual world was lost in the transmission was evaluated again through this sample. In addition, it was determined that the female actor was not in an active position in the Hayalhanem group.
