dc.description.abstractİstihbarat, bilgi toplama, haberleşme faaliyetleri eski zamanlardan itibaren uygulanmış, devletlerin kendi otoritesini korumak ve güçlü tutmak amacıyla haberleşmeye ayrı bir öneme verilmiştir. Sözlükte posta hayvanı, postacı, elçi, ulak gibi anlamlara gelen berîd, iki posta menzili arasındaki mesafeyi ifade etmektedir. İslâm tarihinde posta ve haberleşme işleri berîd adı altında karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Hz. Peygamber (sav) döneminden itibaren Hulefâ-yi Râşidîn ve Emevîler'de de var olan berîd, 750-1258 yılları arasında hâkimiyet kuran Abbâsîler devrinde ise posta ve haberleşme sistemi “Dîvânü'l-berîd” adı verilen kurumsal hale getirilmiştir. Devletler ve milletler için önemli olan sistemin Abbâsîler döneminde berîd adı altına düzenlenmesi, haberleşmenin kültür ve medeniyet gelişiminde de önemli rol oynaması dönemin berîd teşkilatı konusu ve bünyesinde barındırdığı görev alanları yüksek lisans tezi olarak araştırılmıştır. Çalışmamızda Abbâsîler dönemi berîd teşkilatı, görevlileri ve teşkilatta kullanılan yöntemler detaylı olarak ele aldık, diğer merkez ve taşra çalışanları ile farklı divanlar arasında benzer yönlerini tanıtmaya çalıştık.
dc.description.abstractIntelligence, information gathering and communication activities have been implemented since ancient times and particular importance has been given to communication in order to protect and strengthen the authority of the states. Berid, which means postal, animal, postman or messenger in the dictionary, refers to the distance between two postal rangers. In Islamic history, postal and communication works appear under the name berid. Berid, which has existed in the Rashidun Caliphs and the Umayyads since the time of the Prophet (pbuh), was instutionalized under the name of Divanu'l-berid during the Abbasid period, which ruled between 750-1258. The organization of the system, which is essential for states and nations, under the name berid during the Abbasid period, and the fact that communication played an important role in the development of culture and civilization, the subject of berid organization of the period and the areas of duty it included were researched as a master‟s thesis. In our study, we discussed in detail the berid organization of the Abbasid period, its officials and the methods used in the organization, and tried to introduce similar aspects between other central and provincial employees and different councils.
