dc.description.abstractBu araştırmanın amacı, ilköğretim ikinci kademe öğrencilerinin bilişim teknolojilerine ilişkin algılarını ve bilişsel yapılarındaki kavramlar arası bağları ortaya çıkarmaktır. Verilerin toplanmasında kelime ilişkilendirme testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcılarını Konya ili Beyşehir ilçesindeki bir ilköğretim okulunda öğrenim gören 244 ikinci kademe öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Öğrencilere bilişim teknolojileri ile ilgili altı kavramdan oluşan bir kelime ilişkilendirme testi uygulanmıştır. Test sonucunda elde edilen verilerden bir frekans tablosu oluşturulmuştur. Bu frekans tablosu yardımıyla öğrencilerin bilişsel yapılarını ortaya koyan kavram ağları çizilmiştir. Kavram ağlarında ortaya çıkan ilişkilere göre veriler analiz edilmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda öğrenciler verilen anahtar kavramlardan en çok bilgisayar, internet ve iletişim kavramlarını; en az ise bilgisayar destekli öğretim ve bilişim teknolojileri kavramlarını ilişkilendirmişlerdir. Bu da öğrencilerin bilişsel yapılarında bilgisayar, internet ve iletişim kavramlarının merkezi oluşturduğunu göstermiştir. Bilgisayar destekli öğretim ve bilişim teknolojileri kavramlarının ise öğrenciler tarafından yüzeysel olarak bilindiği ortaya çıkmıştır. Ayrıca öğrenciler anahtar kavramlara en çok bilgisayar, telefon, oyun, Facebook ve internet cevaplarını vermişlerdir. Verilen bu cevaplar öğrencilerin bilişim teknolojilerini daha çok günlük yaşamlarındaki eğlence ve vakit geçirme araçları olarak gördüklerini ve eğitim amaçlı düşünmediklerini göstermiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study is to discover the secondary school students? perceptions related to information technologies and the connections between the concepts in their cognitive structures. A word association test is used as the data collection tool in the study. Participants of the research are 244 secondary school students in Beyşehir, Konya. The word association test consisting 6 concepts related to information technologies is applied to the students. Data obtained as a result of the test are recorded in a frequency table. Concept maps that present the cognitive structures of students are drawn with the help of the data in the frequency table. Data are analyzed and interpreted according to the connections obtained as a result of the concept maps. As a result of this research, it is shown that students mostly associate the concepts of computer, internet and communication of the given concepts, and they associate the concepts of computer assisted education and information technologies least. This result shows that the concepts of internet, communication and computer are an important part of students? cognitive structures. It is also understood that students know the concepts of computer assisted education and information technologies superficially. In addition, students mostly answer computer, phone, game, internet and Facebook as the key concepts. These answers show that students regard the information technologies as a means of entertainment and free time activity, not as a means of education.en_US
