Özet
İslam’ın doğuşundan bu yana gelişmeye devam eden hüsn-i hat sanatı, vahiy kâtipleri arasında bir yarış ile başlamıştır. Kur’ân-ı Kerîm’i daha güzel hatlarla yazma arzusu bu sanatın asırlar boyunca gelişmesine sebep olmuştur. Bu gelişmenin sonucu hattatlar ve müverrihler bu sanatı oluşturan kaideleri tespit edip eserlerinde belirtmişlerdir. Bu bilgileri ihtiva eden birçok yazma eser, kütüphanelerin raflarında gün ışığına çıkartılmayı beklemektedir. Günümüz hat sanatının gelişim sürecine katkı sağlamak amacıyla bu araştırmada Türkiye Yazma Eserler Kurumu’na bağlı İstanbul kütüphanelerinde bulunan Osmanlı Türkçesi, Arapça ve Farsça dillerinde yazılan yazma eserler tespit edilip Türkçe’ye tercüme edilmiştir. Bu risâlelerin 9 adeti Osmanlı Türkçesi, 4 adeti Arapça ve 2 adeti Farsça dillerinde yazılmıştır. Birden fazla nüshası tespit edilen risâlelerle toplam 25 risâle incelenmiştir. Yapılan bu inceleme ve tercüme çalışması sonucunda, hat tarihçesi, hattat silsileleri, hattat biyografileri, hat çeşitleri ve hat malzemeleri gibi başlıklara dair günümüz hat sanatının literatürüne katkı sağlayacağı düşünülen bilgilere ulaşılmıştır. Hat sanatının asırlar boyunca gelişim sürecine dair bilgilerin yer aldığı bu yazma eserler, kullanılan malzemelerin yapısını, malzeme çeşitliliğini ve üretim aşamalarını, hat çeşitlerini ve harflerin yazılış şekline göre isimlendirilmesini, hattat silsilelerini, hattat biyografisini ve hat tarihçesini içermektedir. Bu araştırmada yapılan incelemelerden elde edilen bulguların, İslam hat sanatı alanındaki temel bilgilerin birbirini izleyen nesiller boyunca kesintisiz aktarılması için gerekli olan önemli bilgileri sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.
The art of calligraphy, which has continued to develop since the birth of Islam, started with a competitive spirit among the scribes of revelation. The desire to write the Holy Quran with more beautiful calligraphy has caused this art to develop over the centuries. As a result of this development, calligraphers and historians have determined the principles that constitute this art and stated them in their works. Many manuscripts containing this information are waiting to be unearthed on the shelves of libraries. In order to contribute to the development process of contemporary Islamic calligraphy, in this study, manuscripts written in Ottoman Turkish, Arabic and Persian languages in libraries in Turkey were identified and translated into Turkish. Nine of these treatises were written in Ottoman Turkish, four in Arabic and two in Persian. A total of 25 treatises were analyzed including the treatises with multiple copies. As a result of this research and translation work, information on topics such as the history of Islamic calligraphy, calligraphers' sequences, calligraphers' biography, types of calligraphy and calligraphic materials, which are thought to contribute to the literature of contemporary Islamic calligraphy, has been attained. The manuscripts under consideration, which encompass valuable insights into the developmental trajectory of Islamic calligraphy spanning centuries, encompass a wide array of crucial information. These include the structural composition of utilized materials, the diverse range of materials and their respective production stages, the classification of calligraphic styles, the nomenclature associated with lettering based on their writing techniques, the sequences of calligraphers, biographical details of these artists, and the historical evolution of Islamic calligraphy. It is evident that the findings derived from the examinations conducted in this research yield significant information essential for the seamless transmission of foundational knowledge within the realm of Islamic calligraphy across successive generations.
