Özet
Ekonomik şok sonrası işsizlik oranlarının artması, şok geçtikten sonra tekrar eski seviyesine geri dönmemesi durumuna işsizlik histerisi denilmektedir. İşgücü piyasalarında histeri, piyasanın gelişmişlik durumunun belirlenmesine yardımcı olmaktadır. Gelişmiş piyasalarda histeri etkisi görülmezken, gelişmişlik oranının düşmesiyle histeri etkisi artmaktadır. Çalışmada tarım sektörü ve tarım dışı sektörlerde işsizlik histerisi araştırılmıştır. Bu amaca yönelik 2005-2017 yılları arasındaki aylık veriler Augmented Dickey Fuller ve Phillips Perron birim kök testleri ile analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucuna göre her iki sektörde de işsizlik histeri evcut olmakla birlikte, tarım dışı sektörlerde nispeten daha fazla histeri etkisi bulunmaktadır.
The situation is so-called unemployment hysteria, which is the increase in unemployment rates after the economic shocks and not returning to the pre-shock levels again after the shock is over. Hysteria in the labor market helps to determine the development status of the market. While there are no hysteria effects in the developed labor market, the effects of hysteria increase with the decrease of development rates. In this study, unemployment hysteria was investigated in agriculture and non-agriculture sectors. For this purpose monthly data between 2005-2017 were analyzed by Augmented Dickey Fuller and Phillips Perron unit root tests. The results of the study indicate that unemployment hysteresis exists in both sectors, while there is a relatively morehysterical effect in non-agricultural sectors.
