dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada, İslâm Tarihi'nin önemli dönemleri arasında yer alan Hz. Ömer döneminde gerçekleştirilen eğitim-öğretim faaliyetlerinin ortaya çıkarılması hedeflenmiştir. Bu dönemde İslâm Medeniyeti birçok alanda kurumsallaşmış, İslâm Devleti'nin sınırları geniş bir alana yayılmıştır. Genişleyen sınırlarla birlikte dinî, sosyal ve kültürel açıdan farklılıklara sahip birçok insan İslâm toplumuna dahil olmuştur. Böylesine kozmopolit bir yapıya sahip olan toplumun idaresi eğitim adına alınan tedbirlerle ve atılan adımlarla mümkün olmuştur. Bu dönemde ön plana çıkan uygulamalarda ve verilen isabetli kararlarda Hz. Ömer'in eğitimli bir halife olması etkili olmuştur. Hz. Ömer'in eğitimli bir soydan geliyor olması, erken yaşlarda sefâret görevini üstlenmesi ve okuma-yazma bilmesi onun eğitim hayatına önemli katkı sağlamıştır. Yine Kur'ân'ın nüzûlünü canlı olarak yaşaması ve her daim yanında bulunduğu Hz. Peygamber'in eğitiminden geçmesi de onun eğitimine destek olmuştur. Çalışmamızda Hz. Ömer'in eğitimci yönünü ön plana çıkarmakla beraber, hilafette kaldığı on yıllık sürede eğitimin yapıldığı örgün ve yaygın kurumlar ve bu mekanlarda yürütülen eğitim faaliyetlerinin içeriği tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca eğitime bir şekilde temas etmiş öğretmenlerin ilim merkezlerinde gerçekleştirdiği faaliyetlerin ayrıntılarına yer verilmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this study, it is aimed to reveal the education and training activities practised during the time of Hz. Umar, a period which has a great importance in Islamic History. In this time, Islamic Civilization was institutionalized in many fields and the borders of the Islamic State spread on a large area. With the expanding borders, many people with religious, social and cultural differences took a share in the Islamic society. The administration of such a cosmopolitan society was rendered possible by the measures and steps taken in the name of education. Hz. Umar's being an educated caliph was effective in the prominent applications and the right decisions given in this period. Hz. Umar's coming from an educated descendance, his undertaking the task of embassy at early ages, and his literacy made a significant contribution to his education life. Besides, witnessing the revelation of Quran while he was alive, and being trained by Prophet Muhammad with whom he was always together, bolstered up his education. In this study, together with featuring Hz. Umar's educator side, formal and non-formal institutions in which the training took place during the decade of his caliphate, and the content of training activities carried out in these spaces are tried to be ascertained. In addition, the details of the activities carried out by the teachers who somehow came into contact with education in science centers are given.en_US
