Özet
Popüler kelimesi toplum arasında herkesçe bilinen ve sevilen yaşam şekli, alışkanlıklar, kıyafet tercihleri vb. verilerin anlatımında kullanılır. Eski çağlardan beri toplumlarda popüler olaylar veya durumlar olmuş, halk da dolaylı olarak bu olaylardan etkilenmiştir. Antik çağda yapılan festivaller, Yunan döneminde agora meydanlarında toplanıp felsefi konular üzerine tartışma yapmak dönemin popüler konularından biridir. Buna ek olarak Rönesans döneminde perspektif kullanılarak yapılan çalışmalar Rönesans çalışmalarının popüler görüntülerindendir. Barok, Romantizm, Realizm, Fovizm, Dadaizm, Ekspresyonizm, Kübizm ve Sürrealizm gibi sanat akımları da kendi içerisinde üslup bakımından popülaritesini barındırmaktadır. Tarihi süreç içerisinde hem farklı konularda hem de sanatsal alanlarda popüler olaylar ve gelişmeler olmuş, ancak bu tür olayların sanat diline dönüşmesi Pop-Art akımıyla gerçekleşmiştir. 1950 yılından itibaren eş zamanlı olarak İngiltere ve Amerika da başlayan Pop-Art resim sanatı konu olarak dönemin popüler kültürünü kullanmıştır. Özellikle Amerika'da hızla artan tüketim kültürüyle olgunlaşan popüler olayların hızla duyulması olayı toplum yaşantısının kaçınılmaz bir parçası haline gelmiştir. Pop-Art ve popüler kültür her zaman iç içe gelişmiş, bu iki durum her zaman birbirini tetiklemiş ve kendini güncel tutmayı başarmıştır. "Pop-Art Resminde Renk, Biçim ve Kompozisyon İlişkisi" adlı bu çalışmanın giriş bölümünde araştırmanın konu ve problem durumu, amacı, önemi, sınırlılığı, evren ve örneklemi ve yöntemi anlatılmıştır. Kavramsal çerçeve bölümünde Pop-Art düşüncesinin oluşumu ve dönemin popüler gelişmeleri ele alınmış, Pop-Art resim üslubu, renk kullanımı, kompozisyon ilişkisi ve diğer sanatsal özellikleri değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular ve yorumlar bölümünde Pop-Art Resmin öncü ressamları olan Richard Hamılton, Roy Lıchtensteın, Andy Warhol ve David Hockney' in Pop-Art tarzında yaptıkları üçer adet eserine yer verilmiş, bu eserlerdeki renk, biçim ve kompozisyon yapıları ele alınmış ve değerlendirilmiştir. Pop-Art' a öncülük etmiş ve değer katmış bu sanatçılar dönemin popüler kültürünü ve Pop-Art estetiğini yansıtması açısından önem arz etmektedir. Uygulama çalışmaları bölümünde bu tez kapsamında uygulama yapılma gerekliliğine değinilmiş ve Enes Kurt'un Pop-Art tarzında yapmış olduğu sekiz adet çalışması ele alınarak renk, biçim, kompozisyon ilişkisi açısından değerlendirilmiştir.
The word popular is a well-known and loved way of life, habits, clothing preferences, etc. among the society. used to describe the data. Since ancient times, there have been popular events or situations in societies, and the public has been indirectly affected by these events. Festivals held in ancient times, gathering in the agora squares and discussing philosophical issues during the Greek period were popular topics of the period. In addition, the work done using perspective during the Renaissance period is one of the popular images of Renaissance studies. Art movements such as Baroque, Romanticism, Realism, Fauvism, Dadaism, Expressionism, Cubism and Surrealism also have their popularity in terms of style. During the historical process, there have been popular events and developments in both different subjects and artistic fields, but the transformation of such events into the language of art was realized with the Pop-Art movement. Pop-Art painting art, which started simultaneously in England and America since 1950, used the popular culture of the period as a subject. Especially in America, the rapid hearing of popular events maturing with the rapidly increasing consumption culture has become an inevitable part of social life. Pop-Art and popular culture have always developed intertwined, these two situations have always triggered each other and managed to keep itself up to date. In the introductory part of this study named "The Relationship between Color, Form and Composition in Pop-Art Painting", the subject and problem situation, purpose, importance, limitation, universe, sample and method of the research are explained. In the conceptual framework section, the formation of Pop-Art thought and the popular developments of the period were discussed, Pop-Art painting style, use of color, compositional relationship and other artistic features were evaluated. In the findings and comments section, three works by Richard Hamilton, Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol and David Hockney, who are the leading painters of Pop-Art Painting, in Pop-Art style are included, and the color, form and composition structures of these works are discussed and evaluated. These artists, who pioneered and added value to Pop-Art, are important in terms of reflecting the popular culture and Pop-Art aesthetics of the period. In the section of the application studies, the necessity of making applications within the scope of this thesis was mentioned and the eight works of Enes Kurt made in Pop-Art style were evaluated in terms of color, form and composition relationship.
