dc.description.abstractTürkiye'nin önde gelen sosyologlarından Mübeccel B. Kıray'ın toplumsal değişme anlayışının somut göstergesi olan tampon kurum kavramının, sosyal sermaye ile ilişkisi bu çalışmada ele alınmıştır. Kıray, evrimci, pozitivist, ampirist, ve ilerlemeci sosyoloji anlayışına sahiptir. Toplumsal değişmenin etkisi, her toplumda farklılık gösterdiğinden, Kıray'ın evrimci ilerleme anlayışına eleştirel olarak yaklaşılmaktadır. Kıray'ın sosyoloji anlayışına, toplumsal değişme yaklaşımına, Türkiye'nin toplumsal yapısını oluşturan farklı kesimler üzerindeki iktidar ilişkilerine dönük tespitlerine, toplumsal tabakalaşma, modernleşme ve tüketim göstergeleri etkileşimini içeren görüşlerine yer verilmektedir. Değişmenin sosyoloğu olarak tanımlanan Kıray, köyden kente göç, gecekondulaşma, gecekondu kültürü, kente uyum süreci ile ilgili konular üzerine yoğunlaşmıştır. Değişme sırasında iki nokta arasında oluşan boşlukları doldurmak ve eski ile yeni arasında denge sağlamak için tampon mekanizmalardan bahsetmiştir. Tampon mekanizmaların işlevselliğini yerine getirecek sosyal sermaye unsurlarına çalışmamızda yer verilmiştir. Tampon kurum mekanizması ile Kıray'ın çalışmalarında yer almayan sosyal sermaye kavramı arasındaki ilişki, örnek olaylar üzerinden anlatılmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this study, the relationship between social capital and the concept of buffer body as the concrete sign of social change, which is put forward by Mübeccel Kıray, one of the prominent sociologists of Turkey, is discussed. Kıray has an evolutionist, positivist, empiricist and progressive approach in sociology. Since the effects of social changes differ in each society, Kıray's evolutionist progressive approach is discussed in a critical approach. Kıray's understanding of sociology, her approach to social change, her ideas regarding power relations over different parts that make up Turkey's social structure, her ideas about the relations between social stratification, modernization and consumption indicators are also discussed. Known as the sociologist of change, Kıray concentrates on the issues such as rural-urban migration, squatting, slum culture and adaptation to urban life. She puts forward the idea of buffer mechanisms, which serve as a balance between the old and the new and fill the gaps that emerge during the process of change. Social capital elements that fulfill the functionality of buffer mechanisms are also discussed in this study. The relation between buffer mechanism and the concept social capital, which is not seen in the works of Kıray, is demonstrated with case studies.en_US
