| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmada Umman coğrafyasında neşet eden Muhammed el-Me'ûlî'nin hayatı ve şiirleri kapsamlı bir şekilde incelenmiştir. Araştırma, giriş ve üç ana bölümden teşekkül etmektedir. Giriş bölümünde araştırmanın konusu, önemi, amacı, yöntemi ve başvurulan temel kaynaklar üzerinde durulmuştur. Ayrıca şairin yaşadığı dönemin siyasî, sosyal ekonomik ve ilmî durumundan bahsedilerek Osmanlı Dönemi Arap şiirine dair genel değerlendirme yapılmıştır. Birinci bölümde şairin hayatı ve edebi kişiliği; nesebi, doğumu, vefatı, kişiliği edebi şahsiyetiyle alakalı bilgiler ele alınmıştır. İkinci bölümde divandaki şiirlerin muhteva özellikleri değerlendirilmiş olup, şairin medih, ġazel, iẖvâniyyât, öğüt, zühd, hikmet, mersiye, hiciv muhtevasıyla kaleme aldığı şiirler örneklendirilmiştir. Şiirler Arapçası ve tercümesiyle sunulmuştur. Üçüncü ve son bölümde ise divandaki şiirler nazım türleri, kaside yapıları, vezin, kafiye, kelime dağarcığı gibi biçimsel değerlendirmelerin yanı sıra belagat sanatları açısından da incelemeye tabi tutulmuştur. | |
| dc.description.abstract | This study comprehensively examines the life and poetry of Muḥammad al-Maʿūlī, a poet who emerged from the Omani geographical and cultural milieu. The research consists of an introduction and three main chapters. The introduction outlines the subject, significance, objectives, and methodology of the study, as well as the principal sources consulted. It also provides an overview of the political, social, economic, and intellectual conditions of the period in which the poet lived, together with a general evaluation of Arabic poetry during the Ottoman era. The first chapter focuses on the poet's life and literary personality, addressing issues such as his lineage, birth, death, personal characteristics, and literary identity. The second chapter evaluates the thematic features of the poems contained in the dīwān. In this section, poems written in various thematic categories—including praise (madīḥ), love (ghazal), friendly poetry (ikhwāniyyāt), moral advice, asceticism (zuhd), wisdom (ḥikma), elegy (marthiya), and satire (hijāʾ)—are analyzed and illustrated with examples. The poems are presented together with their Arabic texts and translations. The third and final chapter examines the poems of the dīwān from a formal perspective. In addition to analyzing poetic genres, the structure of qaṣīdas, meter, rhyme, and vocabulary, the poems are also studied in terms of rhetorical and stylistic devices within the framework of Arabic rhetoric. | |
