dc.description.abstractİslam korkusu olarak adlandırılan, Batı ülkelerinde uzun bir geçmişe dayanan İslamofobi, İslam'a ve Müslümanlara karşı sergilenen olumsuz tutum ve davranışların gerekçesi olarak gösterilmiştir. İslamofobi varlığının giderek artması ve Müslümanların yaşam şartlarını zorlandırması sebebiyle önemli bir sorun olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Batılı ülkeler, 8. yy'da Endülüs'ün fethedilmesiyle başlayan ve 1960'larda Avrupa'ya yapılan işçi göçlerinin bir sonucu olarak Müslümanlarla iç içe yaşamaya başlamıştır. Bu tarihi süreçte Müslümanlara karşı sert ve düşmanca hareketlerini her zaman sürdürmüşlerdir. Bu ırkçı, ayrımcı, şiddet içeren tutumun Batı'nın imajını zedelemesi kaçınılmazdır. Bunun içindir ki Batılı devletler İslam coğrafyasında yaptıkları işgaller neticesinde ortaya çıkan İslami oluşumları ve onların faaliyetlerini, İslamofobi hareketlerinin birer gerekçesi olarak göstermişlerdir. Özellikle 11 Eylül saldırıları ve bu saldırıyı üstlenenlerin Müslüman bir örgüt olması dünyada İslam ve terörün bir arada anılmasına sebep olmuş, akabinde meydana gelen bir çok örgütün de İslam adına yaptığı terör faaliyetleri de bu düşünceyi beslemiştir. Bu çalışmada ortaya koymaya gayret edileceği gibi Avrupa'da yükselen İslamofobinin öncelikli sebebi Müslümanların gerçekleştirmiş olduğu faaliyetlerden ziyade, Batı'nın önyargıları ve ırkçı hareketlerinde aranması gerektiğidir. İslamofobi, Müslümanlar üzerinde uzun bir geçmişi olan eylemlerin gizlendiği bir gölge kavram olmuştur.en_US
dc.description.abstractIslamophobia, which is called the fear of Islam and based on a long history in Western countries, has been shown as the reason for the negative attitudes and behaviors exhibited against Islam and Muslims. Islamophobia emerges as an important problem because of the increasing presence of itself and making worse the living conditions of Muslims. Western countries began to live with Muslims starting with the conquering of the Andalusia in the 8th century and as a result of the labor migration to Europe in the 1960s. In this historical process, they have always maintained their firm and hostile actions against Muslims. It is inevitable that this racist, discriminatory, violent attitude will damage the image of the West. Therefore, the Western states have shown the Islamic formations and their activities as a result of the Islamophobia movements as a result of their occupations in Islamic geography. Especially the September 11 attacks and the fact that those who undertake this attack were a Muslim organization caused a mention of Islam and terror in the World together, and the following the terrorist activities of many organizations that took place in the name of Islam also fed this idea. As will be attempted to show in this study, the main reason of rising Islamophobia in Europe is that it should be sought in the prejudices and racist movements of the West rather than the activities carried out by Muslims.en_US
