| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmanın amacı ilköğretim okulu 8. sınıf öğrencilerine uygulamak üzere hazırlanan değerler eğitimi programının öğrencilerin demokratik tutum ve davranışlarına etkisini belirlemektir. Araştırma ön test – son test kontrol gruplu deneme modelinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Doğanay ve Sarı (2004) tarafından geliştirilen “Demokratik Değerlere Bağlılık Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırma 2011-2012 eğitim-öğretim yılında Konya il merkezinde bulunan Meram Ayşe Sönmez İlköğretim Okulu 8. sınıf öğrencileri ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Gruplar oluşturulmadan önce veri toplama aracı olan “Demokratik Değerlere Bağlılık Ölçeği” 8. sınıfa devam eden 180 öğrenciye ön test olarak uygulanmıştır. “Demokratik Değerlere Bağlılık Ölçeği”nin uygulanması sonucu en düşük puanı alan, gönüllü 10 kız, 10 erkek öğrenci araştırmanın deney grubunu, 10 kız 10 erkek öğrenciden oluşan ikinci grup ise kontrol grubunu oluşturmuştur. Böylece biri deney diğeri kontrol grubu olmak üzere çalışmaya iki grupta toplam 40 öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırma sürecinde araştırmacı tarafından 10 hafta boyunca ders saatleri dışında deney grubuna “Değerler Eğitimi Programı” uygulanmış; kontrol grubu ise mevcut öğrenimlerine devam etmiştir. Uygulama süreci sonunda, Değerler Eğitimi Programın öğrenciler üzerindeki etkisini belirleyebilmek için; her iki gruba son test ve 4 hafta sonra her iki gruba kalıcılık testi uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin grup içi analizinde bağımlı örneklem t testi, gruplar arası analizinde ise bağımsız örneklem t testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularından elde edilen bulgular sonucunda uygulanan değerler eğitimi programının ilköğretim 8. sınıf öğrencilerinin demokratik tutum ve davranışlarını olumlu yönde etkilediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Education is widely thought as “the process of feeding ones personality” and “the investment in people”. In general meaning; it is known as “constructing or changing the wanted behaviors”. Education is concerned with transferring the filtered values, moral standards, knowledge and experiences of the society to the new generations (Senemoğlu, 2002, p.7). The general aim of the education efforts is certainly helping the growing up children and the young to be welladjusted in the society. Education is not only providing people with knowledge and experience but also raising the value that helps the society to live and develop. Education is responsible for preventing the disappearance of values and it harmonizes the past and the present values of the society (Varış, 1996, p. 30). Thus, in our day, most countries try to reorganize their education system according to the needs of the current century. New values and raising generations with these values is certainly the subject of both education and social sciences (Arslan, 2006, p. 182). Therefore, there is a need to develop education programs that focus on teaching values to different grades in the schools. | |
