dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada, Kütahya’da bulunan Türk dönemine ait su yapıları Sanat tarihi disipliniyle ele alınmıştır. Bu sebeple, Anadolu Selçuklu döneminden başlayıp, XX. yüzyılın ortalarına kadar yapılmış olan çamaşırhane, çeşme, hamam, köprü, kuyu, sakahane ve şadırvan yapıları incelenip değerlendirmeye tabi tutulmuştur. Yapılar bölümlere ait ana ve alt başlıklar altında incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın temel bölümleri aşağıdakilerden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde konunun tanımı, önemi, kapsamı açıklanmış ve konuyla ilgili kaynaklara yer verilmiştir. Ayrıca bölgenin tarihi, coğrafyası ve su yolları da bu bölümde ele alınmıştır. I. bölümde, Türklerden önce ve Türk döneminde su yapılarının gelişimi üzerinde durulmuştur. II. bölüm çalışmanın özünü oluşturan katalog bölümüdür. Bu bölümde yapı grupları kronolojik olarak ele alınmış ve ayrıntılı mimari tanımlamaları yapılmıştır. III. bölümde aslı değiştirilmiş, tamamen yenilenmiş ve günümüzde mevcut olmayan yapılar hakkında bilgiler verilerek, fotoğraf veya resimlerle desteklenmiştir. IV. bölüm değerlendirme bölümüdür. Yapılar tipoloji, malzeme, yapı elemanları, süsleme ve kitabe başlıkları altında ayrı ayrı değerlendirerek, Anadolu su mimarisi içerisindeki yerleri belirlenmiştir. V. bölüm sonuç olarak düzenlenmiştir. Bu bölümde Kütahya’daki su yapılarının devşirme malzeme yoğunluğuyla, kendine has özellikler gösteren ve mimari olarak sade kurgulu, daha çok ihtiyaca cevap vermek amacıyla fonksiyonlarının ön planda olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this study, the water structures belonging to the Turkish period in Kutahya are dealt with through the discipline of Art History. Therefore, laundry rooms, fountains, Turkish baths, bridges, wells, sakahanes and shadirvan structures that were built starting from the Anatolian Seljuk period until the middle of XXth century have been examined and evaluated. The structures were examined under the main and sub headings of the sections. The major sections of the research consist of the following: In the Introduction, the definition, importance and scope of the subject are explained and the resources regarding the subject are presented. Also, the history, geography and waterways of the region are discussed in this section. In the first section, the development of water structures before the Turks and during the Turkish period has been emphasized. The second section is the catalogue section that forms the core of the study. In this section, the building groups were tackled chronologically and detailed architectural definitions were assembled. In the third section, the information about the buildings whose original states were changed, which were completely renovated and do not exist today is presented and has been supported with photographs or pictures. The forth section is the evaluation section. The structures were evaluated separately under the titles of typology, material, construction elements, ornaments and inscriptions, and their place in Anatolian water architecture was determined. The fifth section has been prepared as a conclusion. In this section, it has been revealed that the water structures in Kutahya showed their own unique features with the density of their spolia and architecturally had simple configuration, and that in order to meet more needs, its functions were at the forefront.en_US
