dc.description.abstractGünümüzde hızla ilerleyen bilim dalı içerisinde fen eğitimi de gittikçe daha fazla önem kazanmaktadır. Farklı yöntem ve tekniklerle fen eğitimi ile öğrencilerin ilgisini çekmek daha da kolaylaşmaktadır. Aynı şekilde zihinsel yetersizliğe sahip öğrenciler için de fen eğitimi önem taşımaktadır. Bu bağlamda zihinsel yetersizliğe sahip özel öğrencilere uygun farklı yöntem ve teknikler kullanılarak, öğrencilerin asgari düzey bile olsa fen okuryazarı olması sağlanmalıdır. Bu çalışma; hafif derecede zihinsel yetersizliğe sahip özel eğitim sınıfı öğrencilerine duyu organları konusunun 5E yöntemi ile öğretiminin etkililiğini ortaya koymak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışma Antalya ili Serik ilçesinde bulunan Özelim Özel Eğitim ve Rehabilitasyon Merkezi'nde birebir eğitime devam etmekte olan 3 öğrenci ile yapılmıştır. Araştırma nitel bir durum çalışmasıdır. Araştırmada 5E yöntemine göre hazırlanmış ders planı aracılığıyla ders işlenmiş, sonrasında ise öğrencilerle birebir sürece yönelik yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile öğrenci görüşleri değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda öğrencilerin 5E yöntemi ile ders işlenişini beğendikleri, etkinliklere severek katıldıkları, diğer derslerin de bu şekilde işlenmesini istedikleri ortaya çıkmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractScience education gains more importance day by day within the fast developing fields of science. It is getting easy to catch student's attention by different kinds of techiques and methods in science. Science education is also important for students who have mantal deficiency. In this context, it should be provided to be science literate at least at a minimum level for students having mental deficiency by using different tecniques and methods that are suitable for them. This study has been made with the aim of showing effectiveness of method 5E that has been used to teach sense organs to the students having a bit mental deficiency. The study has been made with 3 students who are getting individual education in Özelim Special Education and Rehabilitation Center in Serik,Antalya. This study is a qualitative situation study. In this study, subject has been taught via lesson plan that has been prepared according to method 5E. Then student's opinions has been evaluated by using semi structured interwiev forms.At the end of the study, it has come out that students like the method, enjoy taking part in activities and want to learn other subjects with this method.en_US
