Özet
Günümüzde teknolojinin hızla ilerlemesiyle birlikte uzaktan eğitim, eğitim süreçlerinde önemli bir yer edinmiştir. Uzaktan eğitim platformları, öğrencilere esneklik ve erişilebilirlik sunarak geleneksel sınıf ortamlarının ötesine geçmektedir. Bu platformlar, ders içeriklerine erişme, ödev tamamlama, etkileşimli öğrenme materyalleri kullanma ve öğretmenlerle iletişim kurma gibi olanaklar sağlamaktadır. Ancak, başarılı bir uzaktan eğitim deneyimi için etkili bir kullanıcı arayüz tasarımı kritik öneme sahiptir. Kullanıcı deneyimi, bir ürünle etkileşime girildiğinde yaşanan süreci kapsar ve kullanılabilirlik, işlevsellik ve duygusal etki gibi unsurlardan oluşur. Kullanıcı dostu bir arayüz, öğrencilerin platformları daha kolay kullanabilmesini sağlayarak motivasyonlarını artırabilir. Uzaktan eğitim platformunun kullanıcı arayüzünün tasarımı sadece estetik sağlamaz, aynı zamanda öğrenme deneyimini de şekillendirir. Arayüz tasarımının kalitesi, öğrencilerin ders içeriğine hızlı ve kolay ulaşabilmesi, ders materyallerini etkili kullanabilmesi ve öğretim elemanlarıyla sağlıklı iletişim kurabilmesiyle doğrudan ilişkilidir. Bu bağlamda kullanıcı arayüzü tasarımında kullanılan renkler, tipografi, buton yerleşimi ve genel tasarım hiyerarşisi öğrenme sürecinin verimliliğini etkileyen temel unsurlardır. Ayrıca erişilebilirlik de arayüzü tasarlarken dikkate alınması gereken önemli bir faktördür. Engelsiz bir arayüz, tüm kullanıcıların platformdan eşit şekilde faydalanmasına olanak tanımaktadır. Bu tez çalışması, uzaktan eğitim platformlarının kullanıcı arayüz tasarımlarını değerlendirmeyi amaçlamaktadır.
With the rapid advancement of technology, distance education has gained significant importance in educational processes. Distance education platforms go beyond traditional classroom environments by offering students flexibility and accessibility. These platforms provide opportunities for accessing course content, completing assignments, using interactive learning materials, and communicating with teachers. However, effective user interface design is crucial for a successful distance education experience. User experience encompasses the process of interaction with a product and consists of elements such as usability, functionality, and emotional impact. A user-friendly interface can enhance students' motivation by enabling easier use of the platforms. This thesis aims to evaluate the user interface designs of distance education platforms. The design of a distance education platform's user interface not only provides aesthetics but also shapes the learning experience. The quality of the interface design is directly related to students' ability to quickly and easily access course content, effectively use learning materials, and communicate efficiently with instructors. In this context, the colors, typography, button placement, and overall design hierarchy used in the user interface are fundamental elements that influence the efficiency of the learning process. Additionally, accessibility is an important factor to consider when designing the interface. An accessible interface ensures that all users can equally benefit from the platform. This thesis aims to evaluate the user interface designs of distance education platforms.
