dc.description.abstractSon yıllarda faunistik çalışmalarda Coğrafi Bilgi Sistemi’nden (CBS) faydanılmaktadır. Tez kapsamında Mavidil (MD), Akabane, Bovine Ephemeral Fever, Schmallanberg (SBV) gibi bir çok salgın hastalığa vektörlük eden Culicoides cinsinin; Selçuk Üniversitesi, Veterinerlik Fakültesi öğretim üyesi Prof. Dr. Bilal DİK ve arkadaşları tarafından, Batı Karadeniz bölgesinde, 2014 yılı, yaz aylarında yapılan tür tespit çalışmaları baz alınarak CBS destekli üç aşamalı bir çalışma oluşturulmuştur. Birinci aşama; Batı Karadeniz bölgesinde tespit edilen baskın türlere ilişkin verilerin konumsal bazda değerlendirilmesidir. İkinci aşama; Meteoroloji Genel Müdürlüğü (MGM)’nden tür tespit çalışmaları ile aynı bölgedeki meteroloji istasyonlarından, aynı zaman dilimine ait meteorolojik verilerin (nem, yağış, sıcaklık, rüzgar) temini, bu verilerden Ters Mesafe Ağrılıklı (IDW) enterpolasyon yöntemi kullanılarak yoğunluk haritalarının üretilmesi ve mekânsal analiz çalışmalarının yapılmasıdır. IDW yöntemiyle oluşturulan bu haritaların doğruluk ölçütü için Karesel Ortalama Hata (KOH) yöntemi kullanılmıştır. KOH hesaplanmasında meteoroloji istasyonlarının bazıları doğrulama için ayrılmış ve her bir meteorolojik veri için yapılan enterpolasyon işlemi bu veriler olmaksızın uygulanmıştır. KOH değerleri sırasıyla; yağış için 0,05 (mm=kg÷m²); sıcaklık için 1,29 (°C); rüzgar için 1,48 (m/sn); nem için 8,61 (%) olarak hesaplanmıştır. Üçüncü aşama ise araştırmacıların Culicoides cinsinin tür tespit çalışmalarına ilişkin verilerine ulaşabilmesi için ücretsiz depolama ve sunum imkanı sağlayan Github üzerinden sunulmasıdır. Bir çok araştırmayı içinde barındıran tez çalışmasının, Culicoides cinsi ile alakalı gelecekte yapılacak CBS destekli çalışmalara, envanter veritabanı çalışmalarına ve web uygulamalarına rehberlik etmesi hedeflenmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractGeographic Information System (GIS) has been used in faunistic studies in recent years. Within the scope of the thesis, Culicoides genus, which is the vector of many epidemic diseases such as Maviton (MD), Akabane, Bovine Ephemeral Fever, Schmallanberg (SBV); A three-stage GIS-supported study was created by Selcuk University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine faculty member Prof. Dr. Bilal DİK et al. First stage; It is the evaluation of the data on the dominant species detected in the Western Black Sea region on a spatial basis. Second stage; Obtaining meteorological data (humidity, precipitation, temperature, wind) belonging to the same time period from the meteorological stations in the same region with species detection studies from the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM), producing density maps from these data using the Inverse Distance Weighted (IDW) interpolation method and spatial analysis work. The Square Mean Error (KOH) method was used to measure the accuracy of these maps created by the IDW method. In the KOH calculation, some of the meteorological stations were reserved for verification and the interpolation process for each meteorological data was applied without these data. KOH values are respectively; 0.05 for precipitation (mm=kg÷m²); 1.29 (°C) for temperature; 1.48 for wind (m/s); It was calculated as 8.61 (%) for humidity. The third stage is the submission of the Culicoides genus on Github, which provides free storage and presentation, so that researchers can access data on species identification studies. It is aimed that the thesis, which includes many researches, will guide future GIS-supported studies, inventory database studies and web applications related to the genus Culicoides.en_US
