Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı pandemi sürecinde öğretmenlerin uzaktan eğitime ilişkin tutumlarını ve mesleki
motivasyonlarını belirlemektir. Çalışmada nitel ve nicel yöntemlerin bir arada bulunduğu karma araştırma
yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler Creswell (2003)’in keşfedici sıralı karma yöntemine göre analiz
edilmiştir. Araştırmanın nicel boyutunda “Pandemi Sürecinde Uzaktan Eğitim Ortamlarının Kullanımına İlişkin
Tutum Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Ölçeğin varyans toplamı %73.42 ve iç tutarlılık katsayısı .93 olarak belirlenmiştir.
Çalışmada kullanılan bir diğer ölçek ise “Öğretmen Motivasyon Ölçeği” olmak üzere iki adet 5’li likert tipi
ölçek kullanılmıştır. Bu ölçekte ise varyans toplamı %49.9 ve iç tutarlılık katsayısı .91 olarak belirlenmiştir.
Toplanan veriler SPSS 20 programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Alt problemlerin analizleri amacıyla yüzde, frekans,
ortalama, standart sapma, t-testi, anova testi, post hoc ve pearson korelasyon analizi yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın nitel
boyutunda ise öğretmenlerin görüşlerini açığa çıkarmak amacıyla yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu
uygulanmıştır. Nitel verilerin analizinde içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma 2020-2021 eğitim öğretim döneminde Konya ilinin merkez ilçelerinde (Karatay, Selçuklu, Meram) görev yapmakta olan 350
ilkokul öğretmeninden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre öğretmenlerin pandemi sürecinde uzaktan
eğitime ilişkin mesleki motivasyonlarının yüksek olduğu ve uzaktan eğitim ortamlarının kullanımına ilişkin
tutumlarının ise orta seviyede olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin pandemi sürecinde uzaktan eğitim
ortamlarının kullanımına ilişkin tutumlarının cinsiyet, medeni durum, okul türü gibi değişkenlere göre anlamlı
bir farklılık görülmezken; mesleki kıdem yılı, branş ve yaş değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu
sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Pandemi sürecinde öğretmenlerin mesleki motivasyonlarının cinsiyet, kıdem yılı ve branş
değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir farklılıktan söz edilebilirken; medeni durum, okul türü ve yaş değişkenlerine
göre anlamlı bir farklılıktan söz edilememektedir. Pearson korelasyon analizi sonucuna göre öğretmenlerin
uzaktan eğitim ortamlarının kullanımına ilişkin tutumları ile mesleki motivasyonları arasında anlamlı ve olumlu
bir ilişki olduğu görülmektedir. Pandemi sürecinde görev yapmakta olan öğretmenlerin görüşleri incelendiğinde
uzaktan eğitim zaman tasarrufu sağlamasından dolayı yeterli görülürken, ekonomik koşulların olumsuzluğundan
dolayı yetersiz olarak görüldüğü sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Öğretmenler uzaktan eğitimin gelecekteki eğitim
sisteminde yerinin kısmen olarak uzaktan eğitim ile sağlanabileceği görüşünde oldukları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
The aim of this research is to determine teachers' attitudes and professional motivations towards distance education during the pandemic process. Mixed research method, which combines qualitative and quantitative methods, was used in the study. The obtained data were analyzed according to Creswell's (2003) exploratory sequential hash method. The "Attitude Scale Regarding the Use of Distance Education Environments in the Pandemic Process" was used in the quantitative dimension of the research. The total variance of the scale was 73.42% and the internal consistency coefficient was determined as .93. Another scale used in the study was the "Teacher Motivation Scale", and two 5-point Likert type scales were used. In this scale, the total variance was determined as 49.9% and the internal consistency coefficient was determined as .91. The collected data were analyzed with the SPSS 20 program. Percentage, frequency, mean, standard deviation, t-test, anova test, post hoc and pearson correlation analysis were used to analyze the sub-problems. In the qualitative aspect of the study, a semi-structured interview form was applied in order to reveal the opinions of the teachers. Content analysis method was used in the analysis of qualitative data. The research consists of 350 primary school teachers working in the central districts of Konya (Karatay, Selçuklu, Meram) in the 2020-2021 academic year. According to the results of the research, it was concluded that the professional motivation of the teachers towards distance education during the pandemic process was high and their attitudes towards the use of distance education environments were at a moderate level. While there is no significant difference in teachers' attitudes towards the use of distance education environments during the pandemic process, according to variables such as gender, marital status, school type; It has been concluded that there is a significant difference according to the variables of professional seniority, branch and age. While there can be a significant difference in the professional motivation of teachers according to gender, seniority and branch variables during the pandemic process; there is no significant difference according to marital status, school type and age variables. According to the results of Pearson correlation analysis, it is seen that there is a significant and positive relationship between teachers' attitudes towards the use of distance education environments and their professional motivation. When the opinions of the teachers working during the pandemic process were examined, it was concluded that while distance education was considered sufficient due to saving time, it was seen as insufficient due to the negative economic conditions. It has been concluded that the teachers are of the opinion that the place of distance education in the future education system can be partially provided by distance education.
