| dc.description.abstract | Bu araştırma kapsamında Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı (MEB) tarafından 2011 yılında basılıp 2011-2012 eğitim-öğretim senesinde okullarda öğretilen 6. Sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler Ders Kitabı, “Eski Çağ Tarihi” konularının yer aldığı sayfalar (45-55) incelenmiştir. Yapılan araştırmada; Nitel Araştırma Yöntemlerinden birisi kabul edilen “Doküman Analizi”nden faydalanılarak verilere ulaşılmıştır. Konu ile ilgili olay ve olguları içeren Doküman Analizinde; veriler toplanmakta, toplanan veriler seçilmekte ve seçilen veriler değerlendirilmektedir. Araştırma süreci içerisinde, araştırmanın amacına uygun olarak mevcut kaynaklar taranmış ve bu yapılan taramalar sonucunda elde edilen değerlendirmelere yer verilmiştir. Bir ülkede tam anlamıyla büyümeyi, gelişim ve ilerlemeyi sağlayabilmek aynı zamanda da tüm bunları sürdürebilmek için küçük yaşlardan itibaren vatandaşlara Tarih dersi diğer bir deyişle ortak geçmişleri öğretilmelidir. Geçmişten faydalanarak bugünü şekillendirmek ve geleceğe yön verebilmek için önemli olan Tarih Bilincini oluşturmak; ülkenin geleceği açısından gerekli ve oldukça da mühim bir durumdur. Tarih bilinci oluşturmak her ülkede olduğu gibi Türkiye’de de önem verilen bir konudur. Bu önemli konu ile ilgili çalışmalar Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı (MEB) tarafından yürütülmektedir. Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı (MEB) tüm vatandaşlarına eşit koşullarda eğitim ve öğretim hizmeti sunabilmek açısından çeşitli çalışmalar yapmaktadır. Bu çalışmalardan biri de muhakkak ki öğrencilere eğitim-öğretim yılı başında dağıtılan ders kitaplarıdır. Birçok öğrencinin ilk okuma arkadaşının ders kitapları olduğu gerçeği göz ardı edinilemez bir gerçektir. Bütün bu bilgilerden yola çıkarak öğrencilerin elinde temel kaynak olarak bulunan ders kitaplarında sunulan bilgilerin doğruluğu oldukça önem arz eden bir hedef konumuna gelmektedir. Bu hedef doğrultusunda yapılan araştırma kapsamında Sosyal Bilgiler Ders Kitabında, Eski Çağ Tarihi konularının bulunduğu sayfalar incelenmiş ve incelenen sayfalarda yer alan bilgilerde mühim konumdaki bazı hatalı bilgiler olduğu gibi Eski Çağ Tarihi konularına dair ifadelerin zenginliği yönünden bazı noksanlıklar bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca bazı devletlerin kronoloji açısından sıralamasının göz ardı edildiği, kullanılan görsellerin bulunduğu sayfadaki metin içerikleriyle uyuşmadığı, ülke, zaman ve yer faktörlerinin gerektiği kadar önemsenmediği fark edilmiştir. Eski Çağ Tarihi konularının mevcut bulunduğu sayfalardaki tarih şeridi de yapılan incelemeye dâhil edilmiş ve çeşitli hatalar tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma dâhilinde tespit edilen hatalar doğru bilgiler ışığında öğrenci seviyesine uygun biçimde yeniden düzenlenerek oluşturulan sayfalarda yer almıştır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Within the scope of this research, it was published by the Ministry of National Education (MEB) in 2011 and taught in schools in the 2011-2012 academic year 6. The Classroom Social Studies Textbook, pages (45-55) containing the topics "History of Antiquity" were examined. In the research, data were obtained by using “Document Analysis”, which is considered one of the Qualitative Research Methods. In Document Analysis containing events and facts related to the subject; data is collected, collected data is selected and selected data is evaluated. During the research process, the available resources were screened in accordance with the purpose of the research and the evaluations obtained as a result of these scans were included. In order to ensure full growth, development and progress in a country and at the same time to maintain all these, citizens should be taught History lesson, in other words their common past, from an early age. Creating Historical Awareness, which is important to shape the present and shape the future by making use of the past; It is a necessary and very important situation for the future of the country. Creating historical awareness is an issue that is given importance in Turkey as in every country. Studies on this important issue are carried out by the Ministry of National Education (MEB). The Ministry of National Education (MEB) carries out various studies in order to provide education and training services to all its citizens under equal conditions. One of these studies is definitely the textbooks distributed to the students at the beginning of the academic year. The fact that many students' first reading companions are textbooks is a fact that cannot be ignored. Based on all this information, the accuracy of the information presented in the textbooks, which are the main source in the hands of the students, becomes a very important target. Within the scope of the research carried out in line with this aim, the pages containing the Ancient History subjects in the Social Studies Textbook were examined and it was determined that there were some important erroneous information in the information on the examined pages, as well as some deficiencies in terms of the richness of the expressions on the Ancient History subjects. In addition, it has been noticed that the chronological order of some civilizations is ignored, the images used do not match the text content on the page, and the country, time and place factors are not taken into account as much as necessary. The date strip on the pages where the Ancient History subjects are available was also included in the analysis and various errors were detected. The errors detected within the research were included in the pages created by rearranging them in accordance with the level of the student in the light of correct information. | |
