Özet
Mitolojinin ve onun beslediği ortak kültürün meydana getirdiği söylem havzası; simgeselliği, kolektif şuuru harekete geçirmesi itibarıyla dikkate değerdir. Bu araştırmada bahsedilen söylem doğrultusunda dile getirilen, kültürel havza göz önünde bulundurulmuş ve Türkçe ders kitaplarında yer alan mitolojik unsurlar, tespit edilip incelenmiştir. İncelenen ders kitaplarının 1981 ile 2021 yılları arasında sınırlılığı gözetilmiştir. Öğrencilerin bilişsel gelişim özellikleri göz önünde bulundurularak 7. ve 8. sınıf seviyesindeki kitaplar incelemeye alınmıştır. Veriler, Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı’nın arşiv kütüphaneleri olan TTKB Arşiv Kütüphanesi ve Ferit Ragıp Tuncor Bakanlık Arşiv ve Dokümantasyon Kütüphanesi’nde bulunan, baskı yılları uygun kitaplardan elde edilmiştir. Yapılan tarama çalışması sonucunda 1994-1999 ve 2015-2016 yıllarında okutulmak üzere basılan kitapların kütüphanelerde bulunmadığı görülmüş ve araştırmaya bu yönde bir sınır çizilmiştir. Kütüphanenin sağladığı hizmetler sayesinde kitaplara erişim gerçekleşmiştir. Kitaplar, okuma metinleri, dinleme metinleri ve etkinlikleri kapsayan bir incelemeye tâbi tutulmuştur. Tespit edilen unsurlar, öncelikle Türk mitolojisi zemininde değerlendirilmiş, sonrasında dünya mitolojilerine yönelinmiştir. Sonuç olarak, toplamda 142 tane kitap incelenmiştir. Araştırma, mitolojinin kavramsal çerçevesinin çizilmesi ve mitolojik unsurların tespit edilerek incelenmesi olmak üzere iki bölüm hâlinde gerçekleşmiştir. Kitaplarda yer alan metin ve etkinliklerde toplamda 5975 mitolojik unsur tespit edilmiştir. Tespit edilen unsurlar, kitaplara ve kitapların okutulduğu yıllara göre, frekans verilerek tasnif edilmiş, frekans değerine bakılarak en çok mitolojik unsurun, baskı yılı 2014 olan 7. sınıf Türkçe Ders Kitabı’nda yer aldığı görülmüştür. Unsurlar, yer aldığı metinlerin türlerine ve türlerin barındırdığı unsur frekansına göre tasnif edildiğinde en çok şiir metinlerinde mitolojik unsurun yer aldığı görülmüştür. Dil becerileri açısından yapılan incelemede, unsurların genellikle okuduğunu anlama, okuma becerilerine yönelik ele alındığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Zihinsel beceriler bağlamında da ele alınan unsurların % 25,84 ile en çok eleştirel düşünmeye yönelik olarak işlendiği görülmüştür. Eleştirel düşünmeyi % 7,39 ile yaratıcı düşünme takip etmektedir. Bununla birlikte 2828 unsurun yalnız %34,84’ü zihinsel becerilere yönelik etkinlik içermektedir. Bazı metinlere kitaplarda sürekli yer verilmesi sonucunda, metinlerin içerdiği mitolojik unsurların da tekrarlı olarak kitaplarda yer aldığı görülmüştür.
The discourse basin created by mythology and the common culture it feeds; It is notable for its symbolism, for activating the collective consciousness. In this research, the cultural basin, which was expressed in line with the discourse mentioned, was taken into consideration and the mythological elements in the Turkish textbooks were determined and examined. The limitations of the examined textbooks between 1981 and 2021 were considered. Considering the cognitive development characteristics of the students, the books at the 7th and 8th grade levels were examined. The data were obtained from the books in the archive libraries of the Ministry of National Education, TTKB Archive Library and Ferit Ragıp Tuncor Archive and Documentation Library of the Ministry, which are suitable for printing years. As a result of the scanning study, it was seen that the books published to be read in 1994-1999 and 2015-2016 were not found in the libraries and a limit was drawn in this direction. Thanks to the services provided by the library, access to the books has been realized. The books were subjected to a review covering reading texts, listening texts and activities. The identified elements were first evaluated on the basis of Turkish mythology, and then world mythologies were addressed. As a result, a total of 142 books were reviewed. The research was carried out in two parts, drawing the conceptual framework of mythology and identifying and examining mythological elements. A total of 5975 mythological elements were identified in the texts and activities in the books. The detected elements were classified according to the books and the years in which the books were taught, by giving frequency, and looking at the frequency value, it was seen that the most mythological element took place in the 7th grade Turkish Textbook, which was published in 2014. When the elements were classified according to the types of the texts and the element frequency of the genres, it was seen that the mythological element took place mostly in the poetry texts. In the examination made in terms of language skills, it was concluded that the elements were generally handled for reading comprehension and reading skills. It has been seen that the elements discussed in the context of mental skills are mostly processed for critical thinking with 25.84%. Critical thinking is followed by creative thinking with 7.39%. However, only 34.84% of 2828 items include activities for mental skills. As a result of the constant inclusion of some texts in the books, it has been seen that the mythological elements contained in the texts are also included in the books repeatedly.
