dc.description.abstractNapolyon'un Mısır'ı işgaliyle başlayan modernleşme ve Batı kültüründen etkilenme sonucu Mısır sanat ve kültür edebiyatında önemli gelişmeler söz konusu olmuştur. İlk başta Batı romanından çeviri ile başlayan roman serüveni Muhammed Hüseyin Heykel'in Zeynep adlı romanıyla bir noktaya ulaşmıştır. Ancak kendine özgün roman anlayışı Corcî Zeydân'la zirveye ulaşmıştır. Yazar bu alanda çoğu İslam tarihini ele alan yirmi iki tane roman yazmıştır bu romanların biri de Arûsu Fergâne'dir. Çalışma bir giriş ve iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde modern Mısır romanına dair genel bir bilgiler verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde Corcî Zeydân'ın hayatı ve eserleri hakkında incelemeler yapılmıştır. İkinci bölümde yazarın Arûsu Fergâne adlı eseri zaman ve mekân, kahramanlar, olay örgüsü, dil ve üslup açısından incelenmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractAs a result of the modernization that started with Napoleon's occupation of Egypt and the influence of Western culture, there have been significant developments in Egyptian art and cultural literature. Its novel adventure, which began with a translation from the Western novel, reached a point with the novel Zaynab by Mohammad Husain al-Haykal. However, original novel approach of Egypt reached its peak with Jorji Zaydan. The author has written twenty-two novels in this field, most of which address Islamic history. One of these novels is Arus-u Farghanah. Our work consists of an introduction and two parts. The introduction gives a general overview of the modern Egyptian novel. In the first part, investigations were made about the life and works of Jorji Zaydan. In the second part, the author's work Arus-u Farghanah is examined in terms of time and space, heroes, incident pattern, language and style.en_US
