dc.description.abstractBu çalışma, Afrika'da Çocuk İşçiliği: Benin Parakou Pazarları Örneği hakkındadır. Gerçekten, uluslararası kuruluşların, hükümetlerin ve sivil toplum kuruluşlarının seferberliğine rağmen çocuk işçiliği, genel olarak dünyanın tüm bölgelerini etkileyen küresel bir olgudur. Afrika'da özelde ise Benin'in kuzeyinde Parakou ilinde çocuk işçiliği oldukça yaygın olarak görülmektedir. Özellikle çocukların pazar alanlarındaki varlığı dikkat çekicidir. Benin'in farklı bölgelerinden ve hatta bazen komşu ülkelerden gelerek Parakou ilindeki pazarlarda çalışan bu çocuklar, pazarlarda tüccarlar tarafından kullanılan iş gücünün büyük bir bölümünü oluşturmaktadır. Ancak bu çocukların hepsi para kazanmak için aynı faaliyetlerde bulunuyor olsa da bulundukları konum farklıdır. Bunların arasında emanet çocuklar, ebeveynleri ile birlikte yaşayan çocuklar ve talebe çocuklar bulunmaktadır. Bu araştırma "Çocukları çalışmaya iten sebeplerin neler olduğunu" tespit etmektedir. Çocukları pazarlarda çalışmaya iten nedenlerin anlaşılması ve bu durumun yansımalarının neler olduğuna dair tespitlere katkıda bulunmaktır. Dolayısıyla, görüşmeye katılanların demografik özelliklerine ilişkin bilgiler, görüşmeye katılan çocukların ailelerine ilişkin bilgiler ve görüşmeye katılan çocukların çalışma yaşamına ilişkin bilgiler vererek sorunun çözüme bir katkı sağlamayı amaçlar. Bu çocukların çoğunluğu yoksul ailelerden gelmektedir. Gelecekteki yaşamlarını sağlıklı devam ettirmeleri ve sosyalleşmeleri için gerekli olan sosyoekonomik ve sosyokültürel faktörleri öğrenebilmeleri gerekmektedir. Bu da sorunun tespitini zorunlu kılmaktadır.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe survey focuses on Child Labor in Africa : Example of Benin Parakou Markets. Indeed, despite the mobilization of international organizations, governments and non-governmental organizations, child labor is a global phenomenon affecting all parts of the world. Child labor is very common in Africa, especially in Parakou province in the north of Benin. Exceptionally, the presence of children in the market areas is remarkable. These children, coming from different parts of Benin and sometimes even from neighboring countries, working in the markets in Parakou province make up a large part of the workforce employed by the traders of these markets. However, although these children are all engaged in the same activities to earn money, their status is different. These include foster children, children living with parents, and Student children. The main goal of this qualitative survey is to know "What are the reasons that push children to work?" More clearly, the main goal of this survey is to contribute to the reflections of child labor in order to understand the reasons that push children to work in markets. Therefore, information about the demographic characteristics of the interviewed children, information about the families of the children participating in the interview, and information about the working life of the children who participated in the interview are given. In this study, qualitative research method was used depending on the purpose and problem of the research. For the purpose of the research, snowball sampling was used. Finally, several factors explain child labor. On the one hand, there is the socio-cultural factor, which is part of the logic of their socialization to enable these children to face the future life, and on the other hand, there is the socio-economic factor. Because most of these children come from poor families.en_US
