dc.description.abstractİnsanoğlu bir arada yaşamaya başladığı zamandan beri küçük ya da büyük topluluklar oluşturmuştur. Toplumun temeli bir arada yaşama ile başlamış ve zaman içinde farklı biçimlerde insanlığı içine almıştır. Toplumsal yaşamı belirlemek için bazen çok katı ve diktatörce kurallar ortaya çıkmış, bazen de belli merkezlerin baskısı ile toplumlar yönetilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu süreç 1789 yılında yaşanan Fransız Devrimine kadar devam etmiş, Devrimle ortaya çıkan özgürlük ve eşitlik düşünceleri dünyadaki siyasal, kültürel ve toplumsal yaşamı kökünden etkilemiştir. Toplumsal yaşam, devrimle beraber otoriteden çıkıp, halkın yaşamını ele almaya başlamıştır. Sanayi devrimiyle birlikte sosyal hayatta yaşan değişimler toplumun sanat anlayışına ve resim sanatına da etkisini yansıtmıştır. Sanatçılar eserlerinde konu olarak dönemin sosyal kültürel durumunu toplumu ön plana çıkararak tarihsel bir belge niteliğinde ortaya koymuştur. Sanatçılar toplumsal sorunları insan bedenlerinde yansıtarak izleyiciye ulaştırmaya çalışmış ve bunu yaparken dönemi bir ayna gibi yansıtabilmek için en güçlü ifade aracı olarak portreyi kullanmıştır. Portrelere yüklenen ifadeler kişinin konumunu, statüsünü ve o anki duygu yükünü dönemin şartlarını her alanda hissettirip ölümsüzleştirilerek izleyicilere ulaştırmaya aracılık etmiştir. "Türk Resim Sanatında Toplumsal Gerçekçilik ve Portre İlişkisi" adlı bu çalışmanın amacı, toplumsal gerçekçi portre yapan sanatçıları tarihi süreç içinde bulup bir araya getirmek, toplumsal olayların portre ifadelerine yansıyan duygu durumları irdelemek, örnek sanatçıları ve eserlerini konu bağlamında ele alıp sosyolojik metodoloji yöntemi ile değerlendirmektir.en_US
dc.description.abstractHuman beings have formed small or large communities since the time they began to live together. The foundation of society started with coexistence and over time, it included humanity in different ways. Sometimes very strict and dictatorial rules emerged to determine social life, and sometimes societies were tried to be governed by the pressure of certain centers. This process continued until the French Revolution in 1789, and the ideas of freedom and equality that emerged with the Revolution deeply affected the political, cultural and social life in the world. Social life, with the revolution, came out of the authority and started to deal with the life of the people. The changes experienced in social life with the industrial revolution also reflected the effect of the society on the understanding of art and the art of painting. Artists put the social and cultural situation of the period as a subject in their works as a historical document by highlighting the society. The artists tried to convey the social problems to the audience by reflecting them in human bodies, and while doing this, they used the portrait as the strongest expression tool to reflect the period like a mirror. The expressions loaded on the portraits mediated to convey the position, status and current emotional load of the person to the viewers by making them feel the conditions of the period in every area and immortalized. The aim of this study, named "The Relationship between Social Realism and Portraiture in the Türk Art of Painting", is to find and bring together social realistic portrait artists in the historical process, to examine the emotional states reflected in the portrait expressions of social events, to consider the sample artists and their works in the context of the subject and to evaluate them with the method of sociological methodology.en_US
