dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada 20. yüzyılın önemli filozoflarından Ludwig Wittgenstein’ın birinci dönem ve ikinci dönem dil görüşleri incelenmiştir. Wittgenstein’ın birinci dönem dil çözümlemeleri analitik felsefe bağlamında ele alınmıştır. Analitik felsefeciler, geleneksel felsefe düşüncesini bir kenara bırakarak düşüncenin merkezine dili koyarlar. Analitik felsefe yöntemi ne tam olarak felsefi argümanları içerir ne de bilimsel argümanlarla sınırlandırılabilir. Wittgenstein da dâhil olmak üzere analitik felsefeciler dil çözümlemelerini mantıksal ve matematiksel çerçeve bağlamında gerekçelendirmişlerdir. Bu bakımdan Wittgenstein birinci döneminde dili sentaks-semantik yönüyle, ikinci döneminde ise dili pragmatik yönüyle ele almıştır. Wittgenstein, öncelikle Tractatus adlı erken dönem çalışmasında dil analizlerini “anlamın resim kuramı” etrafında geliştirmiştir. Daha sonra o, Felsefi Soruşturmalar’da “anlamın resim kuramı” yerine “anlam kullanım”dır diyerek yeni bir felsefi anlayış inşa etmiştir. Wittgenstein bu kuramı “dil oyunları” perspektifinde incelemiştir. Dilin neliği problemi doğrultusunda birinci dönem felsefesinde dili mantıksal çözümlemelerle, ikinci dönem felsefesinde ise dili edimsel çözümlemelerle ele alan Wittgenstein’ın dil görüşü, anlam ve metafizik sorunu üzerine odaklanarak karşılaştırmalı bir şekilde serimlenmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this study, the language analysis of Ludwig Wittgenstein, who is one of the important philosophers of the 20th century, has been examined in regard to his first and second periods. Wittgenstein’s language analysis in his first period are discussed in the context of analytical philosophy. Analytical philosophers locate language at the center of thought by leaving traditional philosophical thought aside. The analytical method of philosophy neither includes purely philosophical arguments nor can it be limited to scientific arguments. Analytical philosophers, including Wittgenstein, have justified their analysis of language in a logical and mathematical framework. Wittgenstein focuses on language in this framework by considering its syntax-semantic aspect in his first period and its pragmatic aspect in his second period. Wittgenstein, first, conducts his language analysis through “the pictorial theory of meaning” in his early work, entitled Tractatus. Then, he builds a new philosophical understanding by replacing “the pictorial theory of meaning” with “the usable theory of meaning” in his Philosophical Investigations. He examines this theory in the direction of “language games.” In line with the problem of the nature of language, Wittgenstein's views, which engaged in language through logical analysis in his first period and pragmatic analysis in his second period, have been discussed in a comparative way by focusing on meaning and metaphysics.en_US
