dc.description.abstractUluslararası Çalışma Örgütüne göre 15-24 yaş arasındaki bireylerin işsiz kalması genç işsizlik olarak değerlendirilmektedir. Ancak dünya genelinde genç işsizlik yaş alt ve üst sınırı ülkelere göre farklılık göstermektedir. Bu sebeple ülkelere göre gençlere yönelik istihdam politikaları birbirinden farklı olabilmektedir.2015 yılında yayımlanan Uluslararası Çalışma Örgütü raporuna göre, 2020 yılına kadar dünya genelinde işsizlik oranlarında artış beklenmektedir. Bu sebeple genç işsizliğin azaltılmasına yönelik politikalar önem kazanmaktadır. Çalışmanın ilk bölümünde Türkiye’deki gençlerin işsiz kalmasının nedenleri araştırılmıştır. Ikinci bölümde genç işsizliğin azalması için uygulanan politikalara yer verilmiştir. Çalışmanın son bölümünde ise Türkiye’de genç işsizliğin azaltılması için uygulanması tavsiye edilen işsizliği azaltmaya yönelik politikalar araştırılmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractInternational Labour Organization considered youth unemployment which is the unemployment of people between the ages of 15 and 24. However, the youth unemployment age differs from country to country in terms of upper and lower limits. For this reason, employment policies for young people may be different from country to country. According to the International Labor Organization report published in 2015, unemployment rates are expected to increase around the world by 2020.Therefore, reducing young unemployment is the common aim of economic policies. Policy-makingto combat youth unemployment have gained importance because of Syrian refugees in Turkey and recorded levels of youth unemployment in the labor market. The first part of this study investigatedthe causes of unemployment for young people in Turkey. In the second part, policies to reduce youth unemployment were presented. The last part of the study devoted to the policies which aim at reducing unemployment in Turkey.en_US
