Akdeniz Bölgesi'ndeki mağaraların ekoturizm açısından incelenmesi

Türkiye'nin en zengin karstik yapılarına sahip olan Akdeniz Bölgesi, bünyesinde çok fazla mağara barındırmaktadır. Mağaralar hem jeolojik oluşumlarıyla hem de tarih öncesi dönemlerden günümüze uzanan kültürel izleriyle dikkat çekmektedir. Akdeniz Bölgesi mağaraları; ekoturizm, sürdürülebilir turizm, kültürel mirasın korunması ve bilimsel araştırmalar açısından önemli bir potansiyele sahiptir. Bu nedenle bölgedeki mağaraların korunması ve tanıtılması, yerel kalkınma ve doğal mirasın sürdürülebilirliği açısından büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışmada Akdeniz Bölgesi mağaraları ekotturizm açısından incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın birinci ve ikinci bölümünde turizm, ekoturizm, mağara yapıları, Akdeniz Bölgesi'nde bulunan iller ve illerde bulunan mağaralar incelenerek kavramsal çerçeve oluşturulmuştur. Çalışmanın son bölümünde potansiyeli yüksek mağaralara anket uygulanarak ekoturizm potansiyeli ortaya konulmuştur.

The Mediterranean Region of Turkey, which has the richest karst structures, hosts numerous caves. The caves stand out due to their geological formations and the cultural traces that extend from prehistoric times to the present. The caves of the Mediterranean Region have significant potential in terms of ecotourism, sustainable tourism, conservation of cultural heritage, and scientific research. Therefore, the preservation and promotion of the caves in the region are of great importance for local development and the sustainability of natural heritage. This study examines the caves of the Mediterranean Region from an ecotourism perspective. In the first and second parts of the study, a conceptual framework is established by examining tourism, ecotourism, cave structures, the provinces in the Mediterranean Region, and the caves located in those provinces. In the final section of the study, a survey is applied to caves with high potential to reveal their ecotourism potential.
