dc.description.abstractÇalışmamızda XX. Asır Suriye önemli ilim merkezlerinin başında gelen Şam'daki hadis faaliyetlerini, hadis âlimlerinin eserlerini, bu âlimlerin kendilerine kadar gelen ilmî gelenekten istifade etmelerini, kendilerinden sonraki döneme tesirlerini ve bulundukları asrın ilmî, siyasî ve coğrafî şartlarının hadis ve sünnet anlayışlarına nasıl yansımış olduğunu incelemeye çalışmıştık. Şam, ilk asırlarda İslâm'la şereflenmiş bir bölgedir. İslâm'ın gelişiyle karanlıktan aydınlığa kavuşan bu büyük coğrafyada, hadis alanında çok önemli çalışmalar yapılmıştır XX. asır hadis ilmi için uyanma ve gelişme asrı kabul edilebilir. Ayrıca XX. Asırda müsteşriklerin ortaya attığı tezlere cevap vermek için hadis âlimlerinin bir kısmının çokça gayret sarf ettikleri görülür. Bununla birlikte bu asırda sosyal bilimlerde yeni metotların geliştirilmesi İslâmî ilimleri etkilemiştir. Böylece hadis ve sünnet çalışmalarında yeni metot arayışları başlamıştır Çalışmamızda XX. Yüzyılda Şam hadis çalışmalarını tahlil ederek bu bölgenin hadis serüvenini tespit etmeye ve hadis çalışmalarını etkileyen unsurları ortaya koymaya çalıştık. Koyduğumuz ölçülere göre tespit ettiğimiz hadis mirasını sürdüren beş hadis âlimi ve onların hadisçiliğini incelemeye gayret ettik. Bu yüzyılda hadis alanında üç yönelimden bahsedilebilir: ıslah ve tecdîd, selefi ekol ve geleneksel akımlar. Bu akımlar, hadislere ve hadis ilmine farklı perspektifler içinde bakmışlardır. XX. Yüzyılda Şam'daki hadis çalışmalarında belirleyici rol alan bu beş hadis âliminin çeşitli meselelerde farklı düşündükleri görülmektedir. Bunun temelinde ise taklîd ve ictihad meselelerine bakışlarındaki farklılık yatmaktadır. Onların düşüncelerinin oluşumunda ve hadis çalışmalarının muhtevası ve hedeflerinde bu durum büyük bir etkiye sahiptir.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn our research, we tried to analyze the developments in the study of Hadith in Damascus, which was one of the most important Islamic studies' centers in Syria during the twentieth century. This analysis was accomplished by relying on the writings of Hadith scholars, and by understanding how scholars benefited from the Hadith heritage that reached them, and how they affected the era that follows them, and how the scientific, political and geographical circumstances of their time were reflected on understanding Hadith and Sunnah. Damascus was a region that was honored by the religion of Islam from the early centuries. This very region was very important where studies in the field of Hadith were written. The twentieth century can be seen as the century of revival and development of modern sciences. It is also noted that some Hadith scholars have made great efforts to answer the theses of orientalists in the twentieth century. On the other hand, new developments in the social sciences in that century have affected Islamic and Hadith studies, and thus the search for new approaches in Hadith and Sunnah studies began, the thing that wouldn't have happened without analyzing the Hadith studies in Damascus in that century. In addition, we tried to chart the history of Hadith in this region and reveal the factors influencing the Hadith studies. We examined the Five Hadith Scholars who had an impact on the continuation of the Hadith heritage. In the twentieth century, three trends can be mentioned in the field of Hadith studies—the first is reform and renewal, the second is the Salafi School and the third is the conventional movements. These three trends looked at the study of Hadith from different aspects. It is noted that the Five Scholars, who played an essential and assertive role in Hadith studies in Damascus in the nineteenth century, thought differently on various issues. Nevertheless, it may be proper to say that the origin of their differences lies in the cases of Taqlid and Ijtihad. This had a significant impact on the formation of their ideas and the content and objectives of Hadith studies.en_US
