dc.description.abstractSinemanın ilk yıllarından beri var olan bilimkurgu sineması, sinema tarihi içerisinde her zaman insanların ilgisini çeken bir tür olarak süregelmiştir. Bilimkurgu sineması içerdiği konular, izleyiciye aktardığı görsel ve özel efektler kendisini diğer sinema türlerinden daha farklı bir hale getirmiştir. İnsanoğlunun tarihin ilk zamanından bugüne dek sürekli olarak bir şeyleri keşfetme, keşfettiği şeyleri ise geliştirme arzusu teknolojiye de yansımıştır. Teknolojinin sürekli olarak gelişmesi, sinema alanında da etkili olmuştur. Sinemanın bir icat olarak ortaya çıkmasının ardından teknolojiyle sürekli iç içe olarak kendisini geliştiren bir alana dönüştürmüştür. Bu dönüşüm, sinemanın bilimkurgu türü içerisinde kendisini fazlasıyla hissettirmektedir. Bilimkurgu sineması, son dönemlerde özellikle hızla gelişen yapay zekaya karşı oldukça ilgiyle yaklaşmaktadır. Filmler içerisinde yapay zekanın iyi ve kötü tarafları gösterilmektedir. Gösterilen bu iyi ve kötü taraflar bazı durumlara yol açmaktadır. Yapay zeka her ne kadar büyük çoğunlukla insanlık adına çok faydalı gözükse de bilimkurgu sineması sayesinde birer korkuya dönüşme potansiyeline sahiptir. Bilimkurgu sineması ele aldığı konular bakımından, yapay zeka, teknolojik tekillik ve teknofobi gibi kavramları hakkında insanlarda birtakım düşünce oluşturmaktadır. Bu tez çalışması teknolojik tekillik çerçevesinde bilimkurgu filmlerinde yer alan yapay zeka ve teknofobi göstergelerini incelemektedir. Bilimkurgu filmlerinde belirlenen sahneler üzerinden tezin ana konusu olan teknolojik tekillik, yapay zeka ve teknofobi gibi kavramların analizi yapılmaktadır.
dc.description.abstractScience fiction cinema, which has existed since the early years of cinema, has always been a genre that has attracted people's attention throughout the history of cinema. The subjects it contains and the visual and special effects it conveys to the audience have made it different from other types of cinema. The desire of mankind to discover things continuously and to develop the things they discover since the beginning of history has also been reflected in technology. The continuous development of technology has also been effective in the field of cinema. After cinema emerged as an invention, it has transformed itself into a field that is constantly developing in conjunction with technology. This transformation is felt greatly in the science fiction genre of cinema. Science fiction cinema has recently been very interested in artificial intelligence, especially the rapidly developing one. The good and bad sides of artificial intelligence are shown in the movies. These good and bad sides that are shown lead to some situations. Although artificial intelligence seems to be very beneficial for humanity in the majority of cases, it has the potential to turn into fear thanks to science fiction cinema. In terms of the subjects it deals with, science fiction cinema creates some thoughts in people about concepts such as artificial intelligence, technological singularity and technophobia. This thesis examines the indicators of artificial intelligence and technophobia in science fiction movies within the framework of technological singularity. The concepts such as technological singularity, artificial intelligence and technophobia, which are the main subject of the thesis, are analyzed through the scenes determined in science fiction movies.
