Özet
Bu Yüksek Lisans tez çalışması, seramik takı tasarımı ve uygulamalarını Türk mitolojisi bağlamında ele almaktadır. Tezin birinci bölümünde, takının tarihçesi ve genel anlamda tanımı yapılmıştır. Takının, insanlık tarihindeki yeri, kültürel ve toplumsal işlevleri detaylı bir şekilde incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde, Türk Mitolojisi ele alınmış ve seramik takılara ilham veren mitolojik imgeler üzerinde durulmuştur. Türk mitolojisinde yer alan kartal, kurt ve geyik gibi figürlerin anlamları açıklanmış; bu figürlerin takı tasarımında nasıl birer tasarım unsuru olarak kullanılabileceği değerlendirilmiştir. Tezin son bölümü, uygulamalı çalışmalara ayrılmıştır. Bu bölümde, Türk mitolojisinden yola çıkılarak seramik takılar tasarlanmış ve üretilmiştir. Yapılan uygulamalar, hem geleneksel figürlerin çağdaş bir estetikle yeniden yorumlanmasını sağlamış hem de seramik malzemenin takı tasarımındaki potansiyelini ortaya koymuştur.
This Master’s thesis addresses ceramic jewelry design and applications within the framework of Turkish Mythology. In the first chapter, the history and general definition of jewelry are provided. The significance of jewelry in human history, as well as its cultural and social functions, are examined in detail. The second chapter explores Turkish Mythology, focusing on the mythological symbols that serve as inspiration for ceramic jewelry. The meanings of key figures such as the eagle, wolf, and deer, which play significant roles in Turkish Mythology, are explained, and their application as design elements in jewelry is evaluated. The final chapter is devoted to practical studies. In this section, ceramic jewelry inspired by Turkish Mythology is designed and produced. These practices not only reinterpret traditional motifs through a contemporary aesthetic but also demonstrate the potential of ceramic material in jewelry design.
