Özet
"Uyarlanabilir Yeniden Kullanım" kavramı, kaynaklarda farklı şekillerde ele alınsa da temel anlamda "mevcut bir yapının inşa edildiği veya tasarlandığı ilk işlevinden farklı bir amaçla yeniden kullanılması" olarak tanımlanabilmektedir. Bu süreç ilk andan son ana kadar farklı disiplinlerin bir arada çalışmasını gerektirmekle birlikte, ekonomik, sosyal, toplumsal, çevresel ve yasal açıdan birçok faktöre bağlıdır. Bu noktada karşımıza çıkan Konya Otogar Binası'nın, Konya'da otogar işlevinin ilerleyen dönemlerde farklı bir alanda karşılanacak olması sebebiyle kullanılmayarak şehir içinde işlevsiz bir şekilde kalması kaçınılmaz bir hal almaktadır. Çalışmada Konya Otogar Binası'nın uyarlanabilir yeniden kullanım potansiyelinin incelenerek, olası senaryolar üzerinden yeni işlevinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Aynı zamanda mimarların uyarlanabilir yeniden kullanıma ilişkin tutumlarını belirlemek, uyarlanabilir yeniden kullanımın fayda boyutuna ilişkin görüşlerini almak ve yeni işlev seçiminde dikkate alınan kriterleri belirlemek hedeflenmiştir. Çalışma kapsamında uyarlanabilir yeniden kullanıma dair literatür taraması yapılmış ve elde edilen verilerin analizleri doğrultusunda uyarlanabilir yeniden kullanım sürecine dair bir model ortaya koyularak kavramsal çerçeve oluşturulmuştur. Daha sonra Dünya üzerinde farklı bölgelerde bulunan 3 adet kamusal yapının uyarlanabilir yeniden kullanım süreçleri analiz edilerek alan çalışması için bir altlık elde edilmiştir. Alan çalışması ise 2 aşamada gerçekleştirilmiştir. İlk aşamada, otogar tasarım kriterleri ve Konya kentinin otogar geçmişi hakkına bilgiler verilmiş, Konya Otogar Binası'nın yapısal ve mekânsal özellikleri analiz edilerek, fotoğraf ve video çekimleriyle bina belgelenmiş, Konya Otogar Binası'nın işlevini kaybedecek olmasının nedenleri ortaya koyulmuştur. İkinci aşamada ise Konya Otogar Binası'na verilecek olan olası işlevlerin belirlenebilmesi için yerel mimarlarla görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Belirlenen olası işlevlerin avantaj ve dezavantajlarının tespit edilmesi amacıyla akademisyen mimarlarla anket çalışması yapılmış, Konya Otogar Binasına verilecek en uygun işlev bulgular doğrultusunda belirlenmiştir. Sonuçlar ve Öneriler bölümünde ise kavramsal çerçeve aşamasında elde edilen veriler ile birlikte Konya Otogar Binası'nın uyarlanabilir yeniden kullanımına dair değerlendirmelere yer verilmiştir. Yapılan değerlendirmeler sonucunda, kentte eksikliği hissedilen bir işlevi karşılaması, yapının sürekli olarak kullanımını sağlaması, kente katma değer sağlaması ve farklı kesimlerden kullanıcıları bir araya getirerek sosyal ve toplumsal anlamda fayda sağlaması gibi avantajları ile ön plana çıkan "Sosyal Tesis" işlevi, Konya Otogar Binası'na verilmek üzere belirlenmiştir.
Although the concept of "Adaptive Reuse" is handled in different ways in the sources, it can be basically defined as "the reuse of an existing building for a different purpose than the original function for which it was built or designed". While this process requires different disciplines to work together from the first to the last, it depends on many factors in terms of economic, social, environmental and legal aspects. It is inevitable that the Konya Bus Station Building, which we come across at this point, will nt be used and remain dysfunctional in the city, since the function of the bus station will be met in a different area in the future in Konya. In the study, it is aimed to examine the adaptive reuse potential of the Konya Bus Station Building and to determine its new function through possible scenarios. At the same time, it is aimed to determine the attitudes of architects towards adaptive reuse, to get their views on the benefit dimension of adaptive reuse, and to determine the criteria taken into account in the selection of a new function. Within the scope of the study, a literature review on adaptive reuse was made and a conceptual framework was created by presenting a model for the adaptive reuse process in line with the analysis of the data obtained. Then, the adaptive reuse processes of 3 public buildings in different regions of the world were analyzed and a base for fieldwork was obtained. The fieldwork was carried out in two stages. In the first stage, information about the bus station design criteria and the history of the bus station of the city of Konya were given, the structural and spatial features of the Konya Bus Station Building were analyzed, the building was documented with photographs and video footage, and the reasons for the Konya Bus Station Building to lose its function were revealed. In the second stage, interviews were held with local architects in order to determine the possible functions to be given to the Konya Bus Station Building. In order to determine the advantages and disadvantages of the determined possible functions, a survey was conducted with academician architects, and the most appropriate function to be given to the Konya Bus Station Building was determined in line with the results. In the Results and Suggestions section, evaluations regarding the adaptive reuse of the Konya Bus Station Building are included, together with the data obtained at the conceptual framework stage. As a result of the evalutions, the "Social Facility" function, which stands out with its advantages such as meeting a missing function in the city, ensuring the continuous use of the building, providing added value to the city and providing social and social benefits by bringing together users from different segments, has been determined to be given to the Konya Bus Terminal Building.
