Özet
Bu araştırma ile Biyoloji Eğitimi Anabilim Dalında eğitimine devam eden biyoloji öğretmen adaylarının kök hücreye ilişkin algılarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. 2017-2018 eğitim öğretim yılında gerçekleştirilen bu araştırmada nicel araştırma modellerinden tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu İç Anadolu Bölgesinde bulunan iki farklı devlet üniversitesinin Eğitim Fakültesi Biyoloji Eğitimi Ana Bilim Dalında öğrenim gören 130 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen "Kök Hücre Algı Ölçeği (KÖHAÖ)" kullanılmıştır. 5'li likert tipinde hazırlanan ölçeğin Cronbach Alfa=.864 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Toplam 19 maddeden oluşan ve 2 faktörlü yapısı olan ölçek açımlayıcı ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizleri sonucunda geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında biyoloji öğretmen adaylarına uygulanan ölçeğe ait veriler SPSS 21.0 paket programında analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde çeşitli betimsel analizler hesaplanmış ve dağılımın özellikleri ortaya konmuştur. Biyoloji öğretmen adaylarının kök hücre algıları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi için ölçekteki her bir maddenin aritmetik ortalaması hesaplanarak algıları belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın alt problemlerine ilişkin yapılan analizlerde verilerin normal dağılım göstermesinden dolayı parametrik analiz tekniklerinden bağımsız t-testi ve tek yönlü varyans (ANOVA) testi kullanılmıştır. Üniversitelere göre biyoloji öğretmen adaylarının kök hücre algıları arasındaki ilişkiyi karşılaştırmak amacıyla T testi uygulanmıştır. Biyoloji öğretmen adaylarının kök hücre konusundaki algılarının sınıf düzeyindeki ilişkisini belirlemek amacıyla ANOVA testi uygulanmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda anlamlı farklılık düzeyi p<0,05 olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda üniversitelere göre biyoloji öğretmen adaylarının kök hücre algılarına ilişkin anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmamıştır. Sınıf düzeylerine göre biyoloji öğretmen adaylarının kök hücre algılarına ilişkin p=,031 değerinde anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmuştur. Her bir maddenin aritmetik ortalaması iyi düzeyde hesaplanmış ve biyoloji öğretmen adaylarının kök hücre konusuna ilişkin algılarının yeterli olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.
With this research, it is aimed to determine the stem cell perception of the biology teacher candidates who continue their education in Biology Education Department. In this research which was carried out in the academic year of 2017-2018, scanning model was used among the quantitative research models. The study group of the research consists of 130 teacher candidates studying in Biology Education Department of two different state universities in the Central Anatolia Region. The "Stem Cell Perception Scale" developed by the researcher was used as data collection tool in the research. Cronbach's alpha was calculated as 864 in the scale which was prepared as the five point likert scale. The scale, consisting of 19 items and having a 2-factor structure, has been identified as a valid and reliable measurement tool as a result of its exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. The scale data applied to biology teacher candidates was analyzed in SPSS 21.0 package program within the research. In the analysis of the data, various descriptive analyses were calculated and the characteristics of the distribution were revealed. The perceptions were determined by calculating the arithmetic average of the each item in the scale in order to examine the relationship of biology teacher candidates' perceptions in the stem cell. Among the parametric analysis techniques, independent t-test and one-way variance test were used since the data on the sub-problems of the research had showed normal distribution. T test was applied to compare the relationship of the biology teacher candidates' perceptions in the stem cell according to the universities. ANOVA test was used to determine the relation of biology teacher candidates' perceptions in the stem cell context at the grade level. As a result of the analysis, level of difference was determined as p <0,05. As a result of the research, according to the universities, no significant difference was found regarding the stem cell perceptions of biology teacher candidates. A significant difference was found in p =, 031 value of stem cell perceptions of biology teacher candidates according to grade levels. The arithmetic average of each item was calculated at a good level, and it was concluded that biology teacher candidates' perceptions about the stem cell were sufficient.
