It is an undeniable fact that technology is developing rapidly today. Although most of the people have digital devices, they also spend time playing games on these devices. This situation can cause problems and game addiction over time. In this context, the aim of this study is to examine the postgraduate theses on game addiction in Turkey with social network analysis and content analysis. In this context, postgraduate theses, which are accessible from the Higher Education Council Thesis Center, containing the keywords of oyun bağımlılığı and/or game addiction, and between January 2010 and October 2021, were determined by the purposeful sampling method. In the search made according to these criteria, 162 graduate theses were reached. This study was carried out with qualitative research model and document scanning and systematic analysis methods were used. Some data in the 162 postgraduate theses accessed were processed into the thesis classification form. These data are; the title of the study, the author of the study, the year, the university, the type of thesis, the institute, the department, the research model, the research method, the universe/sample, the variables considered in relation to the study, the important results obtained in the study. The UCINET program was used to analyze these data with the social network analysis method. In line with the findings, the majority of postgraduate theses are at the master's level, but since 2018, the number of postgraduate theses on game addiction has increased. The majority of the postgraduate theses examined were carried out in the psychology department, within the social sciences institutes, with the quantitative research model and the relational screening method. The sample group studied in most of the theses was found to be 18 years old and younger. In the majority of theses, it was concluded that male participants' game addiction was higher than female participants. However, in the majority of theses examined, it was determined that the game addiction increased with the increase in the game playing time. The variables with the most significant relationship in the theses were gender, daily game playing time, age, having a computer, console, mini console and type of game; The variables that did not have the most significant relationship were determined as father's education level, class level, economic status, mother's education level and number of siblings. It is thought that the SAA results obtained will guide future studies on game addiction.
