dc.description.abstractBu çalışmanın amacı Osmanlı Devleti'nin Modernleşme Dönemi'nde Manastır Vilayeti'ne bağlı Serfice Sancağı'nda eğitim öğretim faaliyetlerinin incelenerek aydınlatılmasıdır. Çalışmamızda Serfice'de modernleşme dönemi kurumları olan iptidai mektepler, rüştiye mektepleri ve idadilerin imparatorluğa paralel olarak sancakta da açıldığı görüldü. Çalışmamızda bu okulların yanında gayrimüslim mektepleri de araştırmamız kapsamında incelendi. Bu mekteplerin öğrenci, öğretmen sayıları ve durumları ve okullarda yapılan faaliyetler Osmanlı Arşiv Belgeleri'ne başvurularak incelenmiştir. Serfice Sancağı'nda açılan bu okulların incelenmesiyle, imparatorluk genelinde ve bilhassa Rumeli'de devletin eğitim ve öğretim faaliyetleri hakkında bilgi sahibi olmak mümkün olacaktır. Maarif-i Umumiye Nizamnamesi ile birlikte maarif alanında önemli değişiklikler meydana gelmiş ve taşraya da bu değişim yansımıştır. II. Abdulhamid Dönemi'nde okullaşma oranı imparatorluk genelinde artarken, Rumeli'de önemli sancaklardan olan Serfice'de de bununla birlikte okullar açılmıştır. I. Balkan Savaşı'na kadar olan süreçte Serfice Sancağı genelinde eğitim öğretim faaliyetleri hakkında ayrıntılı bilgi verilmek istenmiştir. Serfice Sancağı'nda imparatorluk genelinde olduğu gibi birçok modern eğitim kurumu açıldığı ve öğrenci yetiştirildiği anlaşılmış ve okuyucuya aktarılmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study is to shed light on the education activities of Serfice Sanjak, where was connected to Bitola Province, in the Ottoman Empire's Modernization Period. In this study, primary schools, secondary schools and high schools which are Serfice's modernization period institutions were opened in the Sanjak parallel to the Empire. In this study, in addition to these institutions, non-Muslim schools are researched within the context of this study. Numbers and conditions of students and teachers and activities in the schools are studied with the Ottoman Empire Archives. The Ottoman Empire's education activities can be analyzed with this study which is about these opened schools in Serfice Sanjak. Important changes in the education system happened with the statute on general education and these changes can be seen in the rural areas too. While the schooling rate was rising in the Empire, schools were opened in Serfice Sanjak where was one of the important sanjaks in Rumelia. This study wants to give detailed information about the education activities in Serfice Sanjak in the process until the first Balkan Wars. It is understood that a lot of modern education institutions were opened in the Serfice Sanjak as it happened in the Empire and a lot of students were raised in these institutions and this information was shared with the readers.en_US
