Kötülük problemi ve modern dönem tasarım delili

Kötülük problemi her ne kadar Tanrı’nın varlığının aleyhine delil olacak şekilde ortaya atılmış bir problem gibi gözükse de günümüzde hem inanan hem de inanmayan insanlar için bir problemdir. Bu problemin insan zihnini rahatlatıcı bir şekilde çözülmesi insanın kendi varoluşunu anlamlandırabilmesi için gerekli gözükmektedir. Bu problemi dile getiren filozoflardan Epikuros’a göre mutlak iyi bir Tanrı ile mutlak bilgili ve mutlak güçlü bir Tanrı bir arada uyumlu bir biçimde savunulamaz. D. Hume da kötülük problemini Epikuros’tan ilhamla dile getirir. Hume’a göre Tanrı mutlak iyi bir varlıksa mutlak gücünü kullanarak kötülükleri def etmelidir. Şayet kötülükleri defetmiyorsa Tanrı iyi değildir ya da gücü mutlak değildir. Var olan kötülükler devam ettiğine göre Hume, bu durumun bizi Tanrı’nın yokluğuna götüreceğini ifade eder. Tanrı’nın sıfatları arasında uyumsuzluk bulunduğu iddiası günümüz felsefelerinde devam etmiştir. Çağdaş felsefecilerden J. L. Mackie, William Rowe ateizme ulaşma ümidiyle kötülük problemini kullanırken; Plantinga, J. Hick gibi düşünürler ateizme karşı argümanlarını dile getirmektedirler. Problemin çıkış noktası ateizmin kötülük kavramından hareketle Tanrı’nın yokluğunu ispat etme çabasıdır. Biz bu çalışmamızda kötülük probleminin tarihsel seyrini verdikten sonra Tanrı’nın varlığına yönelik olarak modern dönem bilimsel çalışmaların verilerini kullanarak Tanrı’nın varlığını tasarım kanıtı ile ortaya koymaya çalışacağız. Ateistlerin Tanrı’nın varlığı/yokluğu tartışmalarını kritik ettikten sonra ana vurgumuz bilimsel veriler ışığı altında insan için tasarlanmış bir evrende gördüğümüz kötü olguların insan için gerekli olduğunun tespiti olacaktır. Yapmış olduğumuz çalışmada modern dönem bilimsel verilerin teistik dinlerin argümanlarını destekler nitelikte olduğunu gördük. Tanrı’nın var olduğu bir ontolojide insanların mutlu bir yaşam sürebilmeleri için Tanrı ve kötülük kavramlarının uyumlu bir biçimde savunulabileceğini gördük.

Although the problem of the evil seems to be a problem put forward as an evidence against God’s existence, it is problem for both believers and non- believers of God, today. Solving this problem in a relaxing way for human mind seems necessary to make sense of human existence. According to Epicurus, one of the philosophers who expressed this problem, an absolute good, sophisticated and powerful God cannot be argued harmoniously together. D. Hume also expresses the problem of evil, inspiring from Epikuros. According to Hume, if God is an absolute good being, he must defeat the evil by using his absolute power. If he cannot defeat the evils, God is not good or power is not absolute. God is not good or his power is not absolute if he does not defeat evil. As long as the evils continue, Hume says that this will lead us to the absence of God. The claim that there is an incompatibility among the attributes of God continued in today's philosophies. While J. L. Mackie William Rowe, a contemporary philosopher, uses the problem of evil with the hope of reaching atheism, Thinkers like Plantinga, J. Hick express their arguments against atheism. The starting point of the problem is the attempt to prove God's absence, using the evil concept of atheism. In our study, after giving the historical course of the evil problem, the existence of God will be tried to be demonstrated by the evidence of design and by using the data of modern period scientific studies for the existence of God. After revealing the existence of God, in the light of scientific data, our main emphasis will be on the fact that the bad phenomena we see in a universe designed for human beings are necessary for all people. In our study, we have seen that the modern period scientific data supports the arguments of the theological religions. In an ontology where God exists, we have seen the concept of God and evil can be defended harmoniously so that people can live a happy life.
