Alman yazar Rudolf Otto Wi̇emer'i̇n çocuk edebi̇yatı eserleri̇nde çocuk eği̇ti̇mi̇ne i̇li̇şki̇n i̇lkeler

Bu araştırmada, Alman çocuk edebiyatı yazarı Rudolf Otto Wiemer’in Pit und die Krippenmänner ve Der gute Räuber Willibald adlı eserleri, çocuk edebiyatı ölçütleri ve eğitim bilimleri perspektifinden sistematik bir biçimde incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın amacı, Wiemer’in çocuklara yönelik yazınsal üretimlerinde eğitsel içeriklerin ve çocuk gelişimini destekleyici unsurların varlığını ortaya koymaktır. Nitel araştırma desenine dayalı olarak gerçekleştirilen bu çalışmada, veri toplama aracı olarak içerik analizi ve doküman analizi yöntemlerinden yararlanılmıştır. Veriler, belirlenen problem soruları çerçevesinde sistematik biçimde toplanmış ve analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın bulguları doğrultusunda, her iki eserde de değerler eğitiminin önemli bir yer tuttuğu, adalet, dostluk, dürüstlük ve sorumluluk gibi kök değerlerin karakterlerin yaşadıkları olaylar yoluyla çocuklara doğal biçimde aktarıldığı görülmüştür. Ayrıca eserlerde, çocuğa görelik, çocuk gerçekliği ve çocuk bakışı gibi modern çocuk edebiyatının temel kavramlarının başarıyla temsil edildiği saptanmıştır. Wiemer’in karakter yaratımında ve olay örgüsünde çocuğun bilişsel, duygusal ve sosyal gelişim özelliklerini dikkate aldığı, bu yönüyle eserlerin hem sanatsal hem de eğitsel değer taşıdığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu araştırma, Rudolf Otto Wiemer’in çocuk edebiyatına olan özgün katkılarını bilimsel yöntemlerle ortaya koyarak hem çocuk edebiyatı alanına hem de eğitim bilimlerine kuramsal ve uygulamalı anlamda yeni bir kaynak sunmaktadır.

This study systematically examines the works Pit und die Krippenmänner and Der gute Räuber Willibald by the German children's literature author Rudolf Otto Wiemer from the perspectives of children's literature criteria and educational sciences. The aim of the study is to reveal the presence of educational elements and aspects supporting child development within Wiemer's literary productions intended for children. Based on a qualitative research design, the study utilized content analysis and document analysis methods as data collection techniques. Data were systematically collected and analysed according to the determined research questions. The findings indicate that value education plays a significant role in both works, with core values such as justice, friendship, honesty, and responsibility conveyed to children naturally through the experiences of the characters. Furthermore, it was found that the fundamental concepts of modern children's literature, namely child orientation, child reality, and the child's perspective, are successfully reflected in the narratives. Wiemer's creation of characters and structuring of events were attentive to the cognitive, emotional, and social development characteristics of children, demonstrating that his works possess both artistic and educational value. This research offers a scientific contribution by highlighting Rudolf Otto Wiemer's original input to children's literature, providing a new resource for both the field of children's literature and educational sciences.
