dc.description.abstractMakro ekonomik büyümenin temel dayanağı olan yatırımları artırmak politika yapıcılar temel hedeflerinden biridir. Merkezi planlamadan serbest piyasa ekonomisine geçen geçiş ekonomilerinde yatırımların finansman kalitesi önemli bir tartışma konusudur. Bu çalışmada 1995-2016 döneminde Sırbistan ekonomisinde Feldstein-Horioka bulmacası bağlamında yurtiçi yatırımların ne kadarının yurtiçi tasarruflarla finanse edildiği Bai-Perron (2003) tarafından geliştirilen yapısal kırılmaları dikkate alan eşbütünleşme testi ile araştırılmıştır. Ampirik analizler sonucunda kırılma tarihleri 2002 ve 2009 yılları bulunmuş ve analiz periyodu 3 döneme ayrılmıştır. Feldstein-Horioka bulmacasının 1995-2001 ve 2009-2016 döneminde geçerli olduğu, 2002-2008 döneminde ise geçerli olmadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractIncreasing investment, which is the mainstay of macroeconomic growth, is one of the main objectives of policy makers. The financing quality of investments in transition economies that transition from central planning to the free market economy is an important debate. In this study, the amount of domestic investments financed by domestic savings in the context of the Feldstein-Horioka puzzle in the Serbian economy is investigated by the cointegration test developed by Bai-Perron (2003), taking into account structural breaks. As a result of the empirical analyzes, break dates 2002 and 2009 are found and the analysis period is divided into 3 cycles. The result of the Feldstein-Horioka puzzle is valid in the period of 1995-2001 and 2009-2016, and not in the period of 2002-2008.en_US
